Glamping Resort Yokabushi

I stayed here with my family. We got off at the bus stop at Tamatorizaki Observatory and enjoyed the amazing ocean view from the observation deck before heading to the hotel. The lighting was great, giving us a taste of Bali. It was still the season for swimming in the pool. The hammocks in the small gardens attached to each villa also provided privacy and allowed us to relax. The barbecue was more colorful and tasteful than we expected, and was delicious with plenty of meat. The set included the bagna cauda we wanted to try and the steamed mussels with garlic and awamori. What's more, there was even a half-price system for all-you-can-drink for guests. There were hammocks, sofas, and photogenic spots in each area, and the lighting was great, so it was a great choice! The beach was right behind the hotel, so we could enjoy the ocean and it was a luxurious location. We could order a single plate of breakfast for 500 yen, which was perfect. I think you'll be more satisfied than the reviews say. Highly recommended!
Sakura Resort Hotel Ishigaki

I had a very comfortable stay. It was quiet and clean, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. It was also nice that the bathroom was separate from the toilet and spacious. The welcome drink of awamori was also great. In addition, the library in the basement has a good selection of comics, and I thought that it would be okay even if I had to stay in my room due to a typhoon because I had a collection of classic classics from a while ago. Speaking of difficulties, it is a lie that it is a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, and it is uphill, and it takes 5 minutes even if you walk quickly.

It is simply an amazing place to stay. The hotel is small which is what we like. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I am not sure about their English as me and my wife speak Japanese but there was 1 staff that looked Nepali. The room was immaculately cleaned every day. Beautiful empty white sand beach right out the front. Not the best for snorkeling as it’s mostly sand bottom but great to swim and watch the night sky. We had a car which is necessary as it’s 25 minutes drive from the city and we wanted to explore the island anyway. Small but beautiful spa with ocean view on the top floor. Me and my wife will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right in front of Ishigaki Terminal and just a 2-minute walk from the downtown area. The room had a loft, which the kids loved. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. It was wide, so there was plenty of room for two adults and two small children. It's a stylish facility, so I was a little worried about whether it would be okay to bring children, but there were plenty of children's toothbrushes, pajamas, and toys, so we had a great time.

We arrived by car too late to get a car park at the hotel so we had to park about 100ms away down a side street. The room was fine. It had a good view and was very clean The breakfast was delicious and served in a nice room with a garden view. It was busy but the staff were excellent and the tables were turned over promptly. We loved the” save the planet” initiative and in fact were able to buy two tiny pieces of pottery with our coupons just for not having everything washed and changed. The pottery was from the excellent gift shop in the lobby which was actually the best I saw on my trip to Japan. There was also a small grocery shop in the lobby. It was a shortish walk to the ferry and main drag. There were eating options available across the road. We would recommend the dumpling place. They had take away coffee and doughnuts if you wished for breakfast. We would stay here again.

The hotel has high-rise buildings with sea views and garden villas. I chose the latter because it is newly built. The price is slightly cheaper. There is a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Just make an appointment on the hotel's official website in advance. Surprise 1 when arriving at the hotel: If you stay for two consecutive nights and do not need cleaning, but only exchange towels and yukatas, you will receive a 1,000 yen hotel supermarket shopping voucher. Surprise 2: Welcome drink in the lobby ~ Free flow of Okinawa Orion beer😍 Surprise 3: The room is very spacious, about 30 square meters, equipped with a Nestle coffee machine and 4 freshly ground coffees; there are welcome drinks in the refrigerator, 4 bottles of mineral water, 2 cans of Okinawa tea, 2 cans of sparkling wine, and 2 cans of Orion beer, only on the first day, all free😱 Toiletries are available, and the girls' skin care products are DHC. The bathtub is deep and large. Of course, people who are used to hot springs can go to the big bath. The sauna is 86 degrees. The island is hot and humid, just right for dehumidification✌️ The garden is very beautiful, and the outdoor swimming pool is particularly beautiful at night👍 Surprise 4: The buffet breakfast is very delicious, and it is most suitable for people who want to try all the local Okinawan cuisine at once. The hotel has a car rental service. You only need to make an appointment by phone in advance, pick up the car in the hotel parking lot, and return it to the same place. It costs 8,500 yen a day. You don’t need to fill up the gasoline when returning. It is convenient and cheap👌 Thank you hotel, a great stay experience🙏
