Absolutely fantastic! Although the hotel was under renovation, it is a beautiful place, isolated from the hustle and caos from downtown. It is easily accessible from/to the port by cab or local bus. This magnificent place is surrounded by nature, which offers various activities during the day like renting a bike, snorkeling, etc. The food is very good and the price is average. I recommend the room with a sea view. Although the music at the beach club was on until midnight, you will find earplugs in the room in case the music bothers you. The other part of our group booked the ‘jungle room’ option however, for obvious location reasons, there was much more humidity. Thank you so much to the fantastic staff, for their friendliness and always being available and ready to help us during our stay!

Went here on my honeymoon and wouldn't recommend this place at all. Staff were extremely unhelpful and didn't really want to serve you if you were English. Our golf cart we hired off them fell to bits literally whilst we were out so we phoned them twice and they were absolutely no help so we had to push it back in 35c heat. They were rude but did offer us a refund. They asked for all of my bank details but 5 weeks later still no refund and I have had fraud on my account from Mexico since. Fraudenlty getting bank details, its more of a hippy camp when your arrive, I was the only one at the bar ordering a coffee in the morning and it took them 40 minutes of which I ended up just walking off. Not one for complaining but the lack of support they give pissed me off.

I had an amazing experience at Mayan Monkey! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of flavors that left me impressed. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. Special shoutout to Dany and Paola for their outstanding service! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

Honestly no one will regret staying here. The staff from reception, beach club area, house keeping etc, are friendly and welcoming. The room smelled so good and was nice and fresh. The activities list was also amazing. Female solo traveler approved!

We checked into the Nomads (Mayan Monkey) as a couple in May and were "accidentally" charged twice for the room. According to the hotel, the money should be transferred back within 7 days. A month later, I'm still waiting, the operators haven't even informed me of the status, and all I've received in response is "sorry". Stay away from hotels like this. I've already given all the documents (screenshots from the chat, from my bank) to my lawyer, who is filing a lawsuit.

I had a pleasant time, the ambiance was great in the day, the night life was sick! They had a salsa band and a fire show. Special mention to Edain, the bartender that helped me out so much, he makes the best martini and has such a cool energy, loveit
