Excellent hotel location. It's situated in an alley just 100m from Istiklal, so it's quiet and free from crowds. The rooms have balconies with furniture sets, which is very convenient. It's incredibly clean; I was genuinely surprised, thanks to the cleaning staff. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There's an elevator, and the staff help with luggage. I especially want to highlight the breakfasts – they are diverse, delicious, and healthy. The salads didn't repeat once all week, and there was a different pastry every day. The waiters are excellent and always ready to help. Special thanks to Ayhan and Gozde for their outstanding help to guests at breakfast, bringing coffee, juice, water, and wet wipes. They are very pleasant and courteous. I recommend this to lovers of small hotels where every guest feels like a valued guest, not just a customer. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

They are not nice at all I booked a room for my family , they are from Iran and this was in the same time Isreal attacked to Iran, and due airport shutdown they couldn’t get to Turkey, I tried hard to either change the date or get a refund due to the situation so I don’t loose my money but they didn’t accept to do any of that. Thats a shame and away from humanity!

In terms of the location the hotel is perfectly situated very close to taksim square and almost on Istiklal street which means it’s very close to the metro also, Hotel itself is small with a very small lobby and extremely small rooms. However the rooms are clean and all amenities available except the tv which is not smart. Also the rooms have no view at all and face a dead wall. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast and service is excellent and the reception staff is also very friendly and helpful. The main good feature of this hotel is location and worst aspect is the no view claustrophobic environment of the room. The bathroom is very clean and showers are also great. Umbrellas are not available in the hotel for guests. Overall not a bad experience for the price.

The hotel's location is very strategic, very close to Taksim Square. The hotel staff is friendly, and the breakfast menu is delightful.

I had the worst experience in this hotel. This is only due to the manager on July 8th. He went to me and my family while having breakfast and asked for more money in front of all people having breakfast. I made booking through trip.com and it clearly states in reservation that it is for 3 people including 1 kid. He refused to accept this reservation as he said his reservation is made through ******* and is made for only 2 people. It is a shame the way he was treating us although I already paid for 3 rooms. He also made me pay 60 euro for using the same room as my wife when checking in for no good reason as my name was included in the two other rooms that I previously booked. Shame on him and on the owner who made this guy a manager for his property. He needs to attend a course of how treat people right. Unfortunately, he ruined the whole experience as everyone else in the hotel was really nice.

Excellent service. Nice breakfast with vast variety. Good location with easy access to Metro and Taksim Square.

Location is good for the price. The only thing I don’t like is breakfast. It’s not so great and the staff are so annoying. Leave me alone, I’m eating. I’m not giving you a tip for a free breakfast. One thing I don’t like about Turkey.

hotel clean and comfortable

A small hotel, near a beautiful temple and Istiklal Street. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. From the window, we could see a ruined building; it was gloomy but quiet. Overall, it was fine for three days.

Our stay at the Mukarnas was pleasant overall. The hotel is well located near Taksim Square, and the room was clean, although a bit small for the two of us and our luggage. However, the breakfast was average; it was pretty much the same thing every day. The staff (Sybel at reception and Ahyan from the restaurant) were friendly.

I was very surprised by the hotel's exterior and interior, which were so different from the photos. Breakfast was decent, and the location was good, close to Taksim Square.

We chose this hotel and didn't regret it, it's very conveniently located and there's no noise.
