Clean and welcoming hotel. Most lovely staff. Short walk to many tourist areas. Reception helped out with onward travel plans. Staff were amazingly helpful with ferry and taxis. Rooms were spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. Lovely shower in morning. Great visit, will come back.

Amazing staff very nice breakfast ,, with family feel safe and comfortable in this hotel location just amazing,, 5 min maximum walk to blue mosque and Sophia mosque , very clean hotel all staff very nice highly recommended khurram from England

The stay at this hotel was perfect. We were treated like family, especially by Halit Dilber. The rooms were very light with beautiful views, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was within walking distance from Sultanahmet and other must-see in Istanbul. We highly recommend this hotel. It will become part of your Istanbul experience. Loved it!

Hotel Historia is a small family-owned hotel, and as soon as you enter you are made to feel like a special member of the family, with EVERYONE in the staff doing their best to be helpful and provide wonderful service. Though the hotel may be a bit dated and facilities need modernizing, it's service, price, and location are unbeatable! Would come here again and would highly recommended it to friends and relatives!

I booked Hotel Historia based on other TripAdvisor reviews and I am so glad I did. The hotel location was ideal being within minutes walking distance of Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, etc. What impressed me most about the hotel was the attentiveness and caring of the staff. The rooms were impeccably clean, they were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided by the hotel was outstanding. If you are looking for a charming hotel this is it. I cannot wait to return.

We liked it, but the biggest problem is the bathroom due to the lack of ventilation. (it deserves an investment in modernization) The smell of sewage could be felt even on the penultimate floor. After I aired the bathroom, everything went back to normal. The room was clean and free of noise. Very good breakfast. Every day they had something new on the menu. The whole family appreciated its variety. I parked at the end of the street for 10 EUR/day. It is guarded and worth this cost. We could also park for free in front of the hotel, but some locals guided us and we didn't feel bad. In conclusion: It is worth it due to the position and the services provided by all the hotel employees.

We always stay in the Sultanhamet area of Istanbul because of its convenience to all the major sites. But with convenience comes crowds, pricey hotels, and noise. However, Historia Hotel manages to surprise you with the quality of its top-notch service, views, delicious breakfast, and wallet-friendly rooms. We couldn't be happier with the service we received and the stay we very much enjoyed. They are very helpful and friendly. They offer suggestions and guidance on all local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. Contact the hotel to ahead of time if you have any special requests, room options or anything else you want to know. They are very responsive with all messaging. Sitting at our terrace, sipping tea, and taking in the most amazing views of Istanbul would be hard to match in this area.

Spent a week at the Historia and will return in May, a fabulous experience and thank you to Halil for his hospitality. Great location warm and so close to great restaurants. The staff were so helpful and the hotel was very clean and breakfast was very generous.

Very kind and helpful staff. Special thanks to mr Khalid who was very helpful to us. Location is in the heart of the city. 10 minutes walk to tram through the beautiful old town of Istanbul. The only problem is the traffic if you want to go somewhere or come back to hotel by taxi
