This hotel is clean, the room is clean, and the view is magnificent. The location is ideal, not too far from the city center and the monuments. The staff are top-notch, available, professional, and attentive, offering plenty of good advice. I recommend this hotel 1000%! I will definitely return.

The hotel is classic style, rooms were renovated. The standard room is smaller, bed comfortable. The staff is courteous, the included breakfast is good. We needed to change room once since there was sewage smell in the first room. This apparently is.not uncommon in old town hotels. Overall a good stay.

I actually got a free Istanbul Stopover hotel, at different location but my friends din get to book the same hotel. so they chose this hotel and i decided to book and paid for this hotel to stay with them together. we arrived at the hotel just before a big group came, so the reception had the time to entertain us and gave us two connecting room instead of three single rooms. we were happy about that. the breakfast buffet was fine, all were HALAL. the hotel is walkable distance to the Blue Mosque

Hotel is centrally located to all major sights. Though hotel is abit old the bed was comfortable and everything works. Staff are helpful and breakfast was tasty. Would stay here again !

Had the worst experience in terms of customer service. The hotel front desk Okar (yes we asked for his name because he was so rude) was so unprofessional and petty in how he interacted with us. First, I asked him to check me in. He doesn’t respond. I kept asking because he kept ignoring me, then finally after a little sigh, he checks my passport, then says my name wasn’t in the system. I had to wait for ten minutes for my friends to come and show the reservation receipt. Then he kept getting angry for super random reasons, then gave me many ****** comments (eg your bahaviour doesn’t look like Japanese). This Okar person was so disgustingly disrespectful that I never want to step a foot in this hotel. I sincerely hope the hotel fires him immediately. The room itself was mid, but the location was nice. However, the staff are too rude and I strongly recommend you don’t choose this hotel.

Yavuz is located in the heart of Sultanahmed. We walked from the hotel to the grand bazaar, the spice bazaar, hagia sofia, topcapi, old harbor, and all the cute little places in between. Awesome to not need taxis or buses! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom beautiful, the view onto the street excellent for people watching. We used the stopover option from turkish airline and extended another night. The hotel was quite affordable, and has a good price for the value.

The hotel is located in the Old Town, about a 12-minute walk from the Blue Cathedral. However, the surrounding area is mostly uphill. But most hotels in the Old Town are located near uphill streets. We arrived at 8:00 AM. Before we even asked if we could check in early, they proactively arranged for us to move into our room early.

The hotel's location is ok, but the terrain is very mountainous. Walking up and downhill is often steep. Some rooms have closed doors between them, and you can hear everything being said in the next room. If you're unlucky with your neighbors, you might not be able to sleep at all. The hotel itself is used as part of a Stopover program in Istanbul, so check-in and check-out can be late at night.

I would not choose this hotel again.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel, and each time I love it more and more. Ideal location, 7 minutes walk to the main attractions and the Grand Bazaar, and at the same time sufficiently far from the tourist streets, which evokes only positive emotions. Turning towards the hotel on the rafting streets, you feel relieved :)
