Heya Hotel

We stayed for 7 nights in August 2026, in rooms 6101 and 6102. Both rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Dolapdere Street. We spent a lot of time choosing and finally settled on HEYA OTEL based on reviews (which is why I'm writing one too!), its recent renovation, and its proximity to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. The public transportation connections are excellent: there's a metro and a funicular that takes you to Kabatas pier, from where you can take a ferry to the Princes' Islands or the Asian side. We really liked HEYA Hotel; it's a modern, clean hotel with two fast, modern elevators. The room is 16 sq.m., which is perfectly adequate for a night's rest. The toilet and shower are clean. Water pressure is good, and there's always hot water in the shower. The linens are white, clean, and crisp. The blackout curtains are great! The rooms are quiet despite the noisy street outside. The bed is very comfortable. There's air conditioning in the room (it turns off if you open the window). Room cleaning is good, and water is provided daily. If you accidentally leave your door ajar when you leave, a warning signal sounds after 2 seconds. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. There's a terrace on the top floor where complimentary tea and coffee are offered. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They speak Turkish and English (learn it!), or you can use a translator on your phone. I highly recommend HEYA Hotel!

The hotel is quite clean. The room is a bit small, but it's enough for one person. The service is excellent, especially Mohammed, who was very nice and even recommended attractions and routes to me. Amir was also great; a little shy but very kind, and he helped me with my luggage and opened doors. When I left, Ahmet handled my check-out very smoothly. Overall, the service at this hotel is really good.

Service: The front desk staff, Mohammed, was absolutely amazing. He was super enthusiastic and even had WeChat as a communication platform, which was very friendly to mainland tourists. He also kindly asked if I wanted to try Turkish black tea. Facilities: Breakfast was standard European/Turkish style with bread, salads, etc. The room wasn't huge, but just about big enough to fit two 28-inch suitcases. The TV was a smart TV, so I could watch YouTube and Netflix. Environment: It's right next to Taksim Square, just a 5-minute walk from the airport shuttle bus stop. Hygiene: The cleaning was pretty good, and they provided disposable slippers, but no disposable toiletries. Overall, it offers great value for money.

Excellent 👍 The hotel is clean and hygienic, right near the subway exit, and close to Istiklal Street. Breakfast is rich and varied. Just be prepared to wait for check-in.

This was my first time in Turkey, and coming from a third-tier city, I found prices quite high, so I booked this hotel. We arrived at 10 AM on an early flight, and Mohammed at the front desk was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early to rest and adjust to the time difference. Today, as we were leaving, he was on duty again and granted us a late check-out. Such warm and handsome service staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast was decent; it helped us get our vitamins and protein, as fresh vegetables are somewhat scarce in Turkey. The hotel's location is very convenient, just a five-minute walk to the M2 subway station.

Highly recommend Heya Hotel! The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive, even writing down the breakfast times and Wi-Fi password for me – so thoughtful! The location is excellent. There are direct airport shuttles to and from both IST New Airport and SAW Sabiha Airport, and the hotel is just a 6-minute walk from the drop-off point. It's a 10-minute walk to Istiklal Avenue shopping area and a 5-minute walk to the metro station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus a Carrefour supermarket for convenient shopping. The entrance has ample space, so pre-booked transfer vehicles can pull right up to the hotel door. The breakfast even caters to Chinese tastes. Staying here made my trip hassle-free and convenient!

The location is good, making it convenient to get to Kabataş Port and Taksim Square. The only downside of the hotel, partly, is the breakfast itself. The dining area is on the second basement floor, where the Wi-Fi doesn't work, and it's a bit dirty – we encountered sticky floors and dirty plates. The food selection is average; don't expect anything outstanding, just a standard breakfast. Overall, we chose it for its close proximity to Taksim. If, like us, you need to be close to the square and the ferry station, then this is definitely the best value for money.

The staff greets you like a best friend! They're super friendly and helpful with everything. The design is lovely, and breakfast is great. Highly recommend!
