First of all I can recommend this hotel for people who wants to explore Istanbul. Its not a vacation hotel, but a place where you can sleep comfortably and cleanly. It is very centrally located in Taksim. From Taksim you can reach all connections to cabs, buses, metro and boats. I also found the staff super friendly and as a woman I felt very safe there. Unfortunately there is one minus point because our room was small and if you stayed longer in the room it naturally got warmer/heated. If you don't ventilate the room with the windows, the air conditioning goes on automatically. (Probably it wouldnt be a problem on the summer) Unfortunately, this happened every time we slept at night and then we got sick. We might have been given a different room if we had asked, but it didn't really bother us because we were only there to sleep and shower. Also, Google shows the worst way to get there. It's the best to always use the big streets where there are stores and not the streets where people live. Unfortunately, we walked off a street that is supposed to be very unsafe and encountered strange men. The hotel foyer also advised us not to take the street and showed us the safe way. :)
