Nidya Hotel Galataport Reviews

Before we arrived, we saw Google reviews mentioning poor hygiene and bed bugs. This got our trip off to a very bad start. When we checked into the hotel, we openly and honestly brought this up, and the staff member at the front desk confirmed that this was indeed an issue on the first floor, but assured us that the entire floor was no longer in use and that the problem had been dealt with. During our short trip, we had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. Breakfast was not included in our package, but the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff were wonderful. The housekeeper, Eylem, on the 6th floor, was also a very kind lady and always there to assist us.

Worst front desk, attitude was really rude, we encountered some issues and they didn’t help us find any solution. The room was not very clean specially in the shower. Don’t provide shampoo or hair conditioner

Very convenient for those taking cruiseship or disembarking from Istanbul

We had a bad experience with the fez tour selection of room in Nidya. The room was a dingy dark dungeon during our fez travel tour in Nidya We moved to the room that we booked n the receptionist was v good n allocated us the bathroom on level 7.

All good.

The hotel is close to Galataport, Karakoy markets and restaurants, and offers easy access to tourist areas (near the tram and Karakoy station).

Hello. A big thank you to the reception staff, especially Aras, who was very responsive and knowledgeable.

The location is clean and beautiful, and the service is excellent. However, the central air conditioning on the seventh floor was very hot.

If you have to choose this hotel it should only be because of the location.  The hotel is in poor condition. A lot of noise from the main road. It was like sleeping in the middle of the highway.

Very unhygienic and worn room. The hotel used to be good, but is now showing its age. Not recommended at the moment. The location is very good, however.
