We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and everything we needed for a short stay was available. The hotel is a bit dated, and you can see some signs of wear and tear in the facilities and furnishings. However, considering the price, it offers very good value for money. We also appreciated the traditional Japanese ryokan-inspired atmosphere, which gave the place a unique and cozy character. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to stay and don’t mind that it’s not brand new, this is a solid option. We would stay here again for a short trip.

The room was spacious and very clean. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and the environment was comfortable. It's conveniently located, and the breakfast was delicious. Plus, there's a hot spring inside where you can relax. Our stay here was an excellent experience; I'll definitely stay again when I come back to Izu.

This is a very cozy, quiet, and comfortable hotel. The first floor is an art gallery, and the second floor houses the rooms. Although the facilities are a bit old, everything is very clean. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Izu-Kogen Station to the hotel, or you can arrange for a complimentary shuttle pick-up. It's also quite convenient for visiting various attractions. The landlady is very warm and provides excellent service. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Wonderful experience staying there. Cosy and warm staff. Some rms may not have showers so take note. Other than that you can use the common fridge, microwave and oven.

The guesthouse was run by an artist couple. The environment was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, and they even recommended a lesser-known spot nearby. It was a fantastic experience!

The hotel is very close to Izu Kogen, just a short walk away. The owners are a couple of artists from Shanghai, who are very welcoming. I had a bit of an upset stomach that day and didn't feel like eating anything around me, so I went back to the hotel and asked the owner if she could cook us a bowl of noodles with pickled vegetables and shredded pork. She readily agreed, and the noodles tasted like they were from a five-star hotel! 😃 Our trip to Izu Kogen went smoothly, and we arrived at our accommodation early. The owner recommended some lesser-known spots to us, definitely not Kinosaki Coast, perfect.
