I specifically booked this ryokan to visit Mount Omuro, and it was truly excellent. The owner even personally drove us up the mountain.

Great place! The owner is very nice, and there's an Aeon supermarket nearby, which is super convenient for shopping. It's also close to the station and all the attractions. The front desk has a ********* girl who speaks Chinese, making communication very easy. On the day we checked out, it was foggy, and the owner used a translator to tell us to go to the zoo first, then to Mount Omuro. And sure enough, by 1 PM, the sun came out at Mount Omuro! Just a heads-up, the rooms are traditional Japanese style, so there's no private toilet inside.

Had an unforgettable day in Izu. The hotel is near Izu-Kogen Station. I arrived late at night, and after contacting the owner, he immediately came to pick me up at the station, which was incredibly touching! The next morning, he continued to drive guests to Mount Omuro. The owner even used a translation app to communicate and explain various things. What a lovely Japanese uncle!

Very close to the station, and the owner was incredibly nice, driving us to and from the station, and even taking us to Jogasaki Coast and Mount Omuro. There's a 7-Eleven and a supermarket just 300 meters straight down the road from the inn, which was super convenient.

Had a wonderful stay here! The front desk staff and owner were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. The owner even drove us to different attractions. Every detail in the hotel was well thought out and meticulously arranged. It was a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely come back if I have the chance! 👍

Located very near to train station. Great breakfast. Onsen can be privately use by booking ahead. Spacious room and comfortable stay with free parking. Staff can speak Mamdarin too.

Next time I visit, I'll stay here again.

This guesthouse is fantastic! It's an easy 8-minute walk from the train station and super convenient with two large supermarkets, a drug store, a 7-Eleven, and plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s a traditional Japanese-style home, and the breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented—the rice, fish, and soup were all excellent. The owner is incredibly welcoming and even offered to drive us to tourist spots and the station. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The several Chinese-speaking staff members were also wonderful, making communication easy. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Izu and have already recommended it to my friends.

The room was very clean, a classic Japanese inn! The living room also had plenty of entertainment options (Go, Chinese chess, playing cards, a massage chair, etc.), and even a Chinese book called "The Remote Savior"!

The location is super convenient, just over a ten-minute walk from the train station, and there's a supermarket nearby for easy shopping. The staff spoke Chinese, were proactive and enthusiastic, and the owner was even better – he drove us to the attractions and then dropped me off at the train station. There's a Panasonic massage chair in the lobby, perfect for relaxing and getting a massage after a long day of sightseeing.

This time I stayed near Izu Kogen Station, just a few hundred meters walk away, which was very convenient. Facilities: The restaurant and hot springs were all available. Although the hot springs and restrooms are shared, it wasn't inconvenient at all. You can play PS5 and use the massage chair. There are two hot spring baths, one large and one small, which can be reserved in advance. Cleanliness: It was cleaned daily. While traditional Japanese-style rooms don't inherently look as 'clean' as modern ones, I found it quite clean. Environment: It's close to the train station and there are some restaurants nearby. The owner keeps the place very nicely decorated, with many interesting ornaments and designs. Service: The staff member is *********, which made communication very easy. Every day, a large thermos of hot water was left at the door. The hot spring reservation software was very convenient and integrated with WeChat. When I left, the owner insisted on driving me to the train station – the service was absolutely top-notch. This little inn is quite interesting; if you're used to modern hotels, you might want to try this Japanese-style one. I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Izu.

This is my second time here. Last time I couldn't make it to Minami-Izu, so I'm staying here for a night as a transit stop again. The private bath I booked was excellent. The Daiso store near the entrance was uncrowded and well-stocked. It's a memorable hotel.

This is a wonderful ryokan! I highly recommend it! The host is amazing, always willing to help and give you a ride if needed. The private onsen is perfect and can be reserved for a convenient time. Jogasaki Coast and Mt. Omuro are nearby. When I'm in Izu, I'll definitely be visiting there again!

The owner and staff were very welcoming and the place was spotless. They even helped us with transfers to Mount Omuro and the train station. The ryokan itself is charming and unique. The soundproofing isn't perfect, but it's not a major issue. The owner thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning, so it was nice and warm when we arrived in the evening. Both the hot spring baths and regular bathrooms were excellent. Plus, there's a piano on the first floor!
