Avra Beach Resort

Thought the hotel was fantastic great value for money. Breakfast ok and themed evenings at night, Mediterranean, Asian fusion, Mexican and Rhodian these were all good. But we really enjoyed the Greek/Italian lunch restaurant open from 11-30 to 5-30, this served pizzas, pasta and gyros’ plus chips and nuggets available and a few other options. Also the snack bar serving sandwiches pastries, cakes and ice creams was a nice touch. All staff where fantastic but Anastasia and Spyros really stood out 5*would recommend asking for a higher room as ground floor rooms don’t have best view and not much privacy as sun beds available right in front. No issues getting sun loungers even the new comfy beds.

The staff were all so lovely ! They enjoy getting to know the families & friends that stay, & I myself felt close with them! Will miss this place both the scenery & staff.

The entertainment at the hotel was awful. The evening entertainment was aimed at children probably children aged under five. It’s not my idea of evening entertainment. Head shoulders knees and toes is not adult entertainment! I know people with children want kid’s entertainment but at after 9pm at night, I felt that adults were ignored.

Amazing hotel! All the staff were very friendly and lots of laughs, from the entertainment crew, bar staff, receptionist and waiters. Rooms were spacious and the hotel was well laid out. Beach and pool are all very close. Food variety was good to with the different restaurants. Transport bus into the old and new town from the hotel every hour making it accessible. Thank you to the staff!!

Avra Beach is a great hotel and I had a lovely stay here. The food was delicious and there was lots of choice. I particularly enjoyed all the fresh salads. The staff were helpful and the entertainment staff kept us busy when we weren't out and about. We loved George's aqua gym! The place was very clean and the cleaners were always working hard. There were no mosquitos or other biting insects at the time we went (April) so I would recommend it if you react badly to bites like me. Also the April temperature was great for walking about and exploring and it was not too hot to sleep at night. I had booked day trips in advance of coming but you can book these at the hotel too plus they have a regular bus to Rhodes town which only takes 10 mins and costs €6 return. As others have mentioned, the beach is quite shaley but if you have swimming shoes or hiking sandals you can go swimming in the sea easily - which I enjoy doing! I noticed some reviews mentioned the sunbeds not being great but these have now been replaced and there are even some very luxurious new sunbeds on the beach which are so padded they are like sofas! Overall this is a great hotel and one of my party is already planning to come back again this October. Ευχαριστώ πολύ Avra Beach for a lovely holiday.

I’m here now and I have to say this is a fantastic hotel, all staff extremely friendly, room cleaned with fresh towels every day, food is fantastic varied themed menu every day in the main restaurant, plenty of sunbeds by the pool and on the beach, bring beach shoes. Buses go into Rhodes from the hotel for just €6 return well worth a trip,

Me and my husband are here to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. This is our 4th time here. We absolutely love this place. The rooms are spotless, the food is very good. The staff are brilliant always ready to help. The fact that it is on the beach is a plus. We are sorting out our next trip here. We can't recommend this place enough.

My wife and I are currently enjoying a 10 day holiday at Avra Beach, a 45 th wedding anniversary present to ourselves, this is our 4th visit here, And we our glad to say that the hotel is still the best we have ever stayed at,Excellent food, spotless rooms,and possibly the friendliest staff ever, Always made to feel welcome,

Absolutely stunning beach hotel and a great service! Entertainment and bar staff were brilliant, especially George who made us feel so welcomed into the hotel. His confidence and positive vibes really helped with our overall holiday experience! Definitely coming back!! Not only to absolutely destroy him in Tennis😉 P.S - I can’t remember all of your names but to Dominic and the bar staff, you were all brilliant! A Good ‘all inclusive’ experience as well with very quick service for food/drinks - I queued about 10 mins max over the 5 nights we stayed! If you did want to head out to other parts of Rhodes there are loads of local busses and private transfers offered inside the hotel. Great for Families and Couples! Cheers guys🤍
