Izmir Marriott Hotel

The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a great sea view. The dining environment was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend it to friends. You can also watch the sunset in the evening, which I absolutely loved!

Excellent chain hotel. We stayed here after a cruise. The hotel offers great value for money.

Location, cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff – everything was perfect, except for the paid parking. That was a surprise at check-out. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Everything was great. The only thing that spoiled the experience was the long wait for tea/coffee at breakfast. We had to remind the waiters, and they would say they'd bring it right away, but instead, they'd stand around chatting with someone.

Terrible hotel. Is this truly the standard for a Marriott 5-star? Definitely won't be staying here a second time.

The room was generally clean, but there were long hairs on the floor, presumably left by a previous guest. I was given a top-floor sea-view room, directly facing the ocean, perfect for watching the sunset from inside. The seaside promenade is right downstairs. Typical Marriott issue in Turkey, breakfast was just okay, not as grand as at the Wyndham Grand hotels in Turkey. It's a bit of a walk from the metro and tram stations, but not a big deal. It's close to the Agora ruins, Kemeraltı Bazaar, and the Clock Tower, all within walking distance. There's also the Konak Pier mall right next to the hotel, by the sea, which is convenient for a quick meal or coffee.
