Best Western Izmir Hotel

A bit of a chaotic stay at Best Western. The staff were nice, but the establishment itself was a bit lacking.

My stay at this hotel in Izmir was unfortunately a huge disappointment, and I won't be returning. The staff generally came across as neither welcoming nor helpful, and we often met with attitude rather than service. The cleaning was acceptable, but nothing more than that. In my experience, the hotel's location felt very unsafe, especially in the evening. The area around the hotel seemed shady, with old nightclubs and an environment where you don't feel comfortable walking around late at night. Therefore, I'd recommend taking a taxi, especially after 10-11 PM. Unfortunately, I don't think the hotel lives up to the standard or service one would expect for the price. During an emergency, we also didn't receive any real help from the staff, other than them offering to call an ambulance/taxi when we specifically asked for it. All in all, it wasn't worth the money, and sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with the warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff. This hotel definitely deserves its 4 stars. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I had some experiences I didn't particularly enjoy, but the hotel itself was good.

The sewer had a bad odor, and the hotel's living environment was poor.
