Lakeside Hot Spring Hotel Kunibiki

The room we were given was spacious, measuring 13 tatami mats, and the large windows offered a panoramic view of Lake Jinzai and the cherry blossoms along its shore. We enjoyed bird watching with the kids using binoculars we borrowed from the front desk. It was a shame that the baths were closed between midnight and 6am, but we were able to relax in the free massage chairs during that time, which helped relieve fatigue and stress. We were very satisfied with the food, both the taste and the variety of dishes, and the kids were especially delighted with the dessert selection. Even at breakfast, we all had seconds of the clam miso soup. However, there are few trains that stop at the nearest station (Konan Station on the Sanin Line), so you may end up wasting time if you don't plan your travel plans carefully. There are no taxis at Konan Station (an unmanned station), but the inn staff came to pick us up, which was very helpful.

I requested a room on the lakeside side, but unfortunately the view from my room was blocked by trees! I think the rooms in the main building have better views. I was satisfied with the food and hot springs!

The toilet and bathroom were a long walk away, making it especially inconvenient at night. The coffee beans, mill, and pot were stylish and nice. It was a shame that the corners of the room were dusty.
