"I booked a few days late, and the price went up, so definitely book in advance.
**The correct way to get there:**
Take a car to the 'Diamond Lobby' at Galaxy. Stay there and ask the staff for Galaxy's own shuttle bus. Take that bus to 'Broadway Hotel', then go up to the 2nd floor, which is where you check in.
The afternoon tea at Hotel Okura is on the right side as you enter on the first floor. Luggage storage is also there.
If it's your first time, don't walk through the mall yourself; it's very far... I found it exhausting with my luggage and child, and I got disoriented. So I recommend everyone wait for the shuttle bus.
Inside Galaxy, food court-style dining is quite expensive. I tried the beef brisket noodles and the four-treasure rice, and I thought the portion size and taste were good (registering as a Galaxy member gets you a 10% discount on dining). You can also go to the tea restaurants on the non-main streets near Rua da Cunha; the prices there are much better. A special note: don't eat at Xiao Yang Sheng Jian inside Galaxy. Not only is it expensive, but a fellow Shanghainese (I'm also from Shanghai, and Xiao Yang Sheng Jian is originally from our city) said it tastes different from the Shanghai version and is very unappetizing.
**To get to the Kids' Club (Tong Le Fang):** Take the shuttle bus to the 'Diamond' or 'Crystal' Lobby, find the 'Galaxy Hotel' sign, and then you'll find the Kids' Club. It's on the 2nd floor of the Galaxy Hotel. I also recommend going to the other end of the Kids' Club entrance, which leads to the swimming pool.
Double rooms can be combined into one large bed; I've tested it for everyone.
You don't need to bring a converter; that's a nice convenience.
The room isn't particularly large, but I think it's sufficient.
The window overlooks Hengqin. Next time, I plan to come directly from Hengqin instead of Gongbei.
**To get to Pai Kok Light Rail Station:** Get off at the 'Diamond Lobby', walk towards the 'Galaxy Hotel' sign, and then ask the staff; they will tell you where to go.
Galaxy, including Broadway, has many foreign staff. If you don't understand Cantonese, knowing English will be much more convenient for you, as sometimes the staff might not immediately find someone who speaks Chinese (this is sometimes, not always)."
