Personally, I was very pleasantly surprised, especially considering that I booked it as a hotel for a work stay. Not only does it perfectly meet what is expected of an international "business" hotel, with functional rooms, good soundproofing and cleanliness without any objection; but would also consider it in case of returning to Jaén for pleasure. It is a hotel that I recommend regardless of the traveler profile, and quality / price ... I see it as a gift: furniture (especially beds, space and TV), services (gym and relaxation areas), etc. more typical of hotels of higher level, especially if one values the current standart. I couldn't rate his cuisine too highly; Well, I only had the opportunity to have breakfast one morning, but the experience was very good. Only one minor drawback: the location of the reception is very nice, but confusing until you "understand" the layout of the entire hall. If you go, you will understand me I am sure. I use TripAdvisor a lot, but always to inform myself... I am pleased to start with such a positive experience, after several disappointments in my last trips.

After having a reservation since the month of January, one day before my stay and almost 2 months after the reservation they notify me of a computer failure and they divert me to another hotel as the only option at today's price and with no margin to be able to search any other alternative since this weekend Jaen has 3 events. Come on outrageous and embarrassing. Even more so when the Fault is from the hotel and not from the client. A SHAME on the part of the management.

The hotel is certainly not to want to be in the center of Jaén. Since it is located on the outskirts of the city. It has some advantage; and it is that if one goes to sleep, or to work on the outskirts of the city, staying here is comfortable since it is very easily accessible. Good ample and free parking. I have stayed for the second time; It's been several years since the first one. And the truth is that some reform would need. It is seen that the passing of the years is having an effect on the hotel. Note that the first thing that made an impression on me was a strange smell in the room. I think it came from the bathroom. The rooms are not bad. With courtesy water in the fridge. But nothing else in the Minibar either. The bathroom is somewhat old. But well. Normal and clean Note that the room was very clean. The breakfast has lost in quality, the truth. I remember that was what impressed me the most the other time. This one, no more. Extremely hot and in the middle of May. It is striking that in a city like Jaen, the hotel pool was not yet open.

I go with my family twice a year or more because we leave from Madrid to Cádiz and we have never had any problems. This time I asked for a triple room and a Junior suite. The day of arrival we went upstairs to leave our bags and went down to dinner very late and as the triple smelled regular we left airing. I went upstairs with the sleeping little boy and went into the suite with another girl. At two in the morning, first one came, and then another saying that she couldn't sleep because of how bad it smelled. So I ended up with everyone in my room, luckily it was big. Another task was that I got up to close the curtains because the sun was starting to come in and I stuck a nail. The next day, when I told the receptionist, he was very friendly and told me that they would notify maintenance because of the smell and that he hoped it was nothing from the nail. He said it nicely, but I was shocked. I had to go to get tetanus and it caused a two-hour delay in my trip. When I went to pay, my surprise was that they charged me for everything, not a detail. According to them, I had to have notified them at two in the morning that they would change our room, but that now nothing could be done other than file a claim and not even have to go to the emergency room because of a nail in the floor of the suite. Total, they seemed to me with few tables and few resources. When things go well everything goes well, but if things go wrong they haven't been able to live up to it and that's why I was amazed when they told me that they couldn't do anything. Obviously we will not return because in these details you can see the quality of a hotel or a company.
