Just left A***bagh after a wonderful relaxing 5 nights there. The service, as with all the A***s in India was outstanding. Harry ensured out stay here and at the A***-i-kahs was seemless. Everything was taken care of in a discrete and caring ***ner. The food here was also some of the best we have had in India. Bhageshwari did a fabulous job looking after our day to day needs, so promptly and efficiently. The suggestions made by Sparsh regarding dishes to try were spot on and he was charming. The beds were very comfortable and I had the best nights sleep here. Thank you A***bagh.

My husband and I are seasoned travellers, and embarked on an 11-day tour of Rajasthan, culminating in our final night at A***bagh. As avid fans of the A*** brand, with ten previous resorts under our belts, our expectations were naturally high. We had experienced incredible service in India at the Rajmahal palace, The Oberoi, Six Senses Fort Barwa and A*** i khas (shout out to Kishan and his team who were superb and a class act in every way). However, our experience at A***bagh left us feeling disappointed and somewhat disillusioned. Let's begin with the positives: A***bagh's location amidst the picturesque and storied hills is undeniably breathtaking. The tranquility of the surroundings, especially during the morning and dusk, cast a spell of serenity over the entire property. Additionally, the ambiance during dinner was enchanting, creating an idyllic setting to unwind even further after a day of relaxation. Regrettably, our stay was marred by significant shortcomings in service, a cornerstone of the A*** brand's raison d’etre. The staff, unfortunately, lacked the finesse, charm and sadly experience, that we've enjoyed on ***y occasions. Instead of the warm hospitality that we’ve grown accustomed to at A***s, we found the majority of the staff to be distracted and disengaged. The notable exception was the spa ***ager from Bhutan, who stood out for his genuine interest in us and our plans. During our first lunch, two waiting staff members were on their phones. To say the service lacked refinement would be an understatement. The absence of the customary acknowledgment from staff (except for garden staff), a hallmark of A***, and having to wander to get someone’s attention at the dining area or pool was the norm during our stay. Moreover, we barely had any interaction with the GM except briefly during arrival and departure, a stark departure from our previous experiences. He seemed disinterested and it was a similar theme with every guest. I also wasn’t expecting a room cleanup on every occasion we left the room (which is the case at some A***s like A***sara/A***oi!), however, I have come to appreciate and be spoiled by the full room clean on departure day which I’ve experienced at all others excluding A***bagh. While it may be unfair to compare A***bagh directly to A*** i khas, given the disparity in price and scale, we expected a level of service commensurate with similar other A*** properties. Unfortunately, that is hardly the case here. I suspect A***bagh is an addendum to most A*** i khas itineraries, and felt just like that, merely an afterthought post a grandiose and wonderful experience. Why anyone would return here is beyond me. We hope that our feedback will prompt improvements and uphold the esteemed legacy of the A*** brand.

Pros: Lovely property (perfect for Instagram, if that’s your thing). The Chatri dinner is memorable and beautiful. The staff is very friendly. There was good food and very nice service at the restaurant. Rooms are a little dated, but otherwise big and spacious. Cons: There is no A/C in the rooms during “winter”, where the weather gets as high as 80 degrees F during the day. Because of the daytime heat, the rooms don’t cool at night even when the temperature drops. When we were there, opening the window was not an option because of the poor air quality (and, according to the staff, comes with risk of monkeys coming in). If you need to sleep in a cold room, this place is not for you. The staff, while lovely, do not appear as well trained as some of the more established hotel chains in India. It took about 5-6 requests for the AC to be turned on before anyone would admit it’s not an option, which was incredibly frustrating and left us with a really bad taste. We had also flagged needing AC ahead of time to all hotels on the trip - of the 6 stops, this is the only place we had an issue. They also did not tell our travel agent (who was fantastic) that it wasn’t available. We ended up leaving a night early because of this. Less of a bigger deal but worth noting since it’s an A*** - prior to our arrival, we asked to book one of the activities offered in their brochure - a hike to one of the nearby forts. We received confirmation but were told upon arrival that we would be driving, not hiking. That was fine with us, but it was odd to offer something not available. Air quality (obviously not in the hotel’s control) can have a big swing in stay quality. Because this is a place to relax outside (even the restaurant is al fresco), if you get poor air quality during your stay, relaxing outside is not really an option. Again, this probably wasn’t an issue when they built the hotel, but unfortunately is something to consider when traveling to India.

I visited India after 7 years and went to a***bagh with my bestfriend - it was the most amazing experience ever!! I dont think words can do justice to the kind of hospitality we recieved - Bhageshwari took great care of us since the moment we entered in order to ensure we had everything we needed! She is amazing! Our chef Ach*** went above and beyond to ensure we had the most delicious food of our choice!! As well as the hotel ***ager Ritesh welcomed us and ensured we recived the best service. It was truly an amazing experience and we cannot wait to go back!

After a busy two weeks in Delhi, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaipur, our three days at A***bagh were an absolute respite of tranquility and bliss. As you drive into A***bagh, you begin to realize what a special experience you are about to have. This is not the overdeveloped, polluted, busy India but an absolute bucolic, idyllic, and pristine countryside. It was so wonderful to get off the highway and the traditional tourist track to see this completely other side of India that ***y (including the media) seem to entirely miss. Our arrival was magical. The property is outstanding—it feels as though you have stepped into another world. Everything about A***bagh is grounding, peaceful, and centering and our suite was spectacular. The food was quite possibly the BEST we ate in India (which is saying a lot because we loved every single meal during our entire three week journey). The staff were wonderful (thank you Rambo, Gaurav, and so ***y more) and it was wonderful learning about A***’s hiring process of investing in the hiring and training of individuals from the local community rather than bringing in people from their other properties around the world. Take advantage of AS ***Y of the activities and excursions as you can because they are all absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed multiple spa treatments, private yoga in ancient ruins, flora/fauna guided hikes, the ‘Cow Dust tour’ (amazing). The highlight was our private Chhatri dining experience which was truly the most memorable dinner we have ever had when traveling. I surprised my husband with this on his birthday and the hotel was so discrete and helpful in planning the big surprised. A***bagh is a true respite and somewhere I will dream about until we return!

Stayed in a pool villa for three nights. The room was large and luxurious and the heated private pool offered complete privacy. All of the staff were kind and extremely professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Don’t miss out on the cow dusk tour at the end of the day where our driver took us into the countryside and around the local villages. Special thanks to the GM for making our trip so memorable.

The team at A***bagh seems to be unpolished and not prepared for dealing with the customers who would typically visit the property. The attitude and hospitality appears to be very 2 star. Definitely they can learn a lot from their peers like Oberoi Group on how to be hospitable. My experience from the time of booking has been sour. The sales team thinks no end to themselves and treat’s customer as if they don’t matter. My particular instance happened with Mr. Pratik. He seemed rude and did not appear to be someone who his fit to work for a luxury hotel chain (atleast doesn’t know how to behave with customers). Probably Mr. Pratik is still hung over his past experience of working in a 2 star hotel

Our experience at A***bagh was truly exceptional. The service was impeccable, with Ms. Bhageshwari as our dedicated personal ***ager ensuring every detail was perfect. Chef Mr. Ach***'s culinary creations were both special and delicious, often featuring ingredients from the extensive on-site gardens - which we recommend visiting together with him. Ms. Neelam's insightful yoga sessions added a refreshing start to our mornings. For those seeking more activity, exploring nearby villages by bicycle is highly recommended. A heartfelt thank you to the entire A***bagh team for creating and maintaining this extraordinary haven in the picturesque landscape of Rajasthan.

I just wanted to say that A*** bagh will always be one of the most special and beautiful places, and our stay there made us feel like we are at home and very comfortable. All the staff were more than amazing with their kindness and positivity, they always wanted us to feel like a family there. The view and the service and the hygiene was more than amazing we were more than satisfied. The food was something else, we would just eat all day because their food is so so so goood. Theres a lot more to say about the place, but I would like to mention neha and give her a lot of appreciation, her service was the best service we ever experienced. She just understood us. And i would like to thank rambo, vikas, narender, ***bir, bhageshwari, sitaram, mohinder and ritesh. They all made us more than satisfied in our visit and we’re very helpful.
