Shahpura House offers a truly distinctive ambience that sets it apart from typical hotels. The room layouts are unique and ideal for long stays, giving the place a more homely and regal feel. We tried ordering pizza once, but it wasn’t a hand-tossed base and didn’t quite meet expectations. For the rest of our meals, we opted for Kebabs & Curries—a fantastic outlet just 200 meters from the hotel. While the staff delivering food to the room were generally polite, their demeanor at times felt like they were expecting tips, which was a bit off-putting. We stayed in April and managed to book the Sheeshmahal Suite at a discounted rate—which was absolutely worth it! Overall, a pleasant and royal stay.

Travelled with a large group. Check in was swift. Staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. The lovely staff are let down by the rooms. I was allocated a room in block one, I have stayed in many hotels in the world and this room was equivalent of a cell seen in the Alcatraz prison. 2 small single beds pushed together, no natural light, windows were fake and curtains across them. For the first time ever, I asked for another room, staff moved me there and then to block two, no hesitation.. (hence I say the staff were lovely..)windows opened and overlooked interior corridors so again no natural light, however, the room was bigger with a double bed and I was happier with this room. 1 bottle of water had been opened and left in the room though, so I only had 1 bottle of water provided. Evening meal served on the terrace, charged for water, no other hotel charged for bottled water with a meal. I cant comment on the food as I was so tired I bought the water and went to the room to lie on the hard mattress, however, did sleep well. The decor is old Indian and was nice to see, however, the rooms really let this hotel down... such a shame.

I would classify this properly as 2 star as it’s incredibly very dirty. I spent 4 nights at this property and had no choice but to stay. The washrooms were filthy. I took pictures and reported to the front desk but nothing was done. I ordered room service and the tray and dirty dishes were left outside the room for 3 days. The only good thing about this hotel was that the service at breakfast was good. I would not recommend this property to my family members if they ever visit India.

This was a hotel i was looking forward to staying at during our India adventure. And it exceeded my expectations, what an amazing place, we felt like we had stepped back in time & were living like royalty in this wonderful Havelli. The Manager & his staff at the front desk were outstanding, as was our waiter Sanjay. If in Jaipur i would stay nowhere else, great location 5⭐ from me

Wow wow wow, Upgraded room in the main part of the hotel. Room 118 which was a twin rather than a double but after 30+ years together it’s not a big deal but the hotel is quiet and beautifully maintained. Feels colonial. Staff were amazing. Nothing too much of a trouble and laundry service was brilliant. I had a fleece covered in red wine from travelling and they got it lovely and clean. Breakfast a little chaotic but it was plentiful and hot. I would definitely come back for a stay. Lots of facilities but didn’t get the chance to try out.

Excellent service, staff are very helpful. Rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable that I don’t want to get up. The breakfast is great. Quiet at night. I definitely will recommend it to anyone who is staying in Jaipur.
