The hotel has a great antique charm, but the indoor lighting is a bit dim. The rooftop restaurant serves good food and offers a nice view of the castle at night, which is pretty great. However, we booked a triple room for two people but were only given a double room and two breakfasts. The owner wasn't very honest.

Great accommodation, close to most things. Great view of the fort. Super helpful staff. Just be sure to clarify cost of tours booked through the hotel before booking.

We had a great stay there, it's a very beautiful place. Once you enter the building you feel like entering another world, they put a lot of effort into details that everything feels very cozy and welcoming. For us it was one of the best hotels in India we will definitely come up when visiting Jaisalmer again. They also organised the trip into the desert for us which is a must - we loved it.

I have stayed here before and it was again enjoyable. There is rooftop restaurant and the room is nice and clean with hot water. The building is well designed and the room has natural light

The hotel was clean and quiet, and the room was decorated like a wedding suite, with a balcony offering a direct view of the castle. The only minor disappointment was that they only provided two bars of soap, no other toiletries. The hotel staff were very understanding and allowed me to stay at the hotel for an extra three hours while waiting for my train, even providing a free shuttle to the station. I am extremely grateful.

What a great place to stay. Absolutely loved this hotel. Friendly staff and management. Had a lovely room with a bay window and seating looking directly out to the fort. Great shower pressure, air-conditioned plus ceiling fan. Fantastic roof top seating area and a good selection of food and drinks. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience! The rooms are very nice, with comfortable beds and lovely clean sheets. Everyone here is completely dedicated to making sure you have the best possible experience. The waiters, managers, drivers and the owner are all incredibly nice, kind and welcoming! Don’t look anywhere else — you’re in the right place for a truly great experience in Jaisalmer!

The rooms are comfortable clean and beautiful decorated with traditional rajasthani touches. The best part for me was the Rooftop Restaurant with beautiful view of golden fort. Especially in evening with sunset view. The food was also delicious and good.

Shahi Palace is best place to stay in jausalmer. We are group of 6 people staying 3 nights in here. Rooms are good and comfortable. Overall we loved to stay in shahi palace.

As a Traveller, Jaisalmer is my Dream Place as Staying In Shahi Palace Hotel was the Best. A Beautiful Heritage Stay and Made from a Golden Stone and the View from the Rooftop Restaurant is heaven. i Highly Recommended Shahi Palace Hotel in kausal.

We had a special dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious, we had tried some local dishes with a special view on the fort. One of the most beautiful thing was speaking about India, about its culture and its people, with Devilal, the owner of the hotel. He showed himself available and open mind to answer to our question and share with us his vision and ideas. thank you very very much to welcome us in this way… we felt as at home.
