I recently stayed at Chateau Jasper in a small town in Alberta, Canada, booked through Trip.com, and my overall experience was excellent. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, and having a microwave and refrigerator was incredibly convenient for long-term travelers, making it easy to heat up food in the evenings. My favorite part was being able to open the window and see the snow-capped mountains and forest, which really captured the resort vibe of a Canadian national park. The location was also very convenient; it was a short drive to restaurants and supermarkets in Jasper town. The surroundings were quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. This stay in a town surrounded by snow-capped mountains during my Canadian Rockies trip truly left me with wonderful memories.

Located in a quiet town, this hotel has a charming, classic decor. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor is delicious and serves generous portions. Our room came with a coffee machine and tea bags, and the staff were all very friendly. Highly recommended!

Conveniently located to restaurants and town centre, huge room and comfy bed.

My last stop before heading home was in Jasper. I didn't have high expectations, so I wasn't disappointed. The hotel itself wasn't perfect, but it didn't have many flaws either. I'd say Jasper feels more like a transit point than a destination in itself.

There was a slight delay during check-in, but the front desk agent was very attentive and helpful, and later assisted us with a Wi-Fi issue. Overall, it was great. The room was spacious and the heating temperature was just right.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a constant hum in the background that was maybe a large fan? The back door security latch was broken as well. Other than that, we enjoyed the underground parking lot and the closeness to downtown Jasper♥️

It was a great stay love how clean it is. Location is pretty good too. And the staff are very accommodating

Great location, close to town but quite, Staff were friendly and profession.

We booked this hotel with free cancelation until March 16, but on March 17 there’s avalanche so the road from Banff to Jasper was closed (until now!). The hotel didn’t even inform us and we just knew this when we checked the route 2 days before the date we should stay. We asked for refund since this is a force majeure, but they kept rejecting our proposal eventhough we explained them many times and called them directly. At first the staff said they would give refund if Trip.com approved it but then again Trip.com couldn’t reach them and they ignored anything from Trip.com. We had no plan to cancel our booking if not because of the road closure. So disappointed . DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL: 1. Using any third party booking agency as they have their own free cancelation policy which we as customers wouldn’t have any visibility of. Even if you book directly to the hotel, see #2 below. 2. For winter vacation - route to Jasper is extremely prone to avalanche hence road closure, but this hotel just didn’t care (see #1). 3. Ignorant customer service, despite the details provided by us. We couldn’t get refund because of the above. Kudos though to Trip.com for making the efforts, unfortunately they couldn’t get the agreement with the ignorant Chateau Jasper.

We stayed here for one night. The room was bright and spacious. I liked the sliding shower door. Usually hotels have curtains that get wet and sometimes water leaks outside. The bathroom was small but clean with good lighting. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv. The room window was nice and big. The pool and hot tub was a great amenity. The pool place had nice big windows with a great view. I loved the shower/restroom (with a bench) by the pool which made it convenient to shower and change before heading back to the room. They also provided pool towels. The location was conveniently located near restaurants and maligne canyon (which was closed due to the wild fire). Breakfast wasn’t included. I would recommend staying here.
