Hotel Moon

First picture shows the hotel entrance. The second and third pictures show the fire escape. The steps are very close to the door, so you have to be careful when you open it, it feels like you're going to fall down. Everything else was great, except for the incredibly loud fan in the bathroom. The hot water was plentiful, and any broken facilities were repaired very promptly, which was excellent.

They even have breakfast, haha! This place is pretty good, very close to the airport (less than a 15-minute taxi ride). Plus, a 10-minute walk will get you to some delicious samgyetang and BBQ restaurants.

The room was quite small; with one suitcase open, it was already touching the wall and the bed. The first day was fine. Since I was staying multiple nights, the room wasn't tidied daily, but it was generally okay. The only real issue was that the pillows became very flat by the third day, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Later on, the bedsheets also felt a bit scratchy, which wasn't pleasant either. I only realized how much better it could be when I moved to another hotel on my last day. For a similar price, the new place had a better environment and was also located on the bustling Baojian Road. However, everything happens for a reason! If it weren't for the Moon Hotel, I wouldn't have explored the commercial streets of the Old Town, and I wouldn't have appreciated the subsequent hotel stay as much. In summary, if you're only staying one night, I think this place is great: it's very affordable, offers good value for money, and even includes breakfast, although I didn't get to try it, which is a bit of a shame.

This hotel is right next to a bus stop, and there's a whole street of restaurants nearby, mostly frequented by Koreans. It felt more authentic and less touristy than some popular attractions. The room was indeed small, but for the price, it was good value. I particularly want to praise the hotel's fire safety! It was incredibly thorough! The room had a rescue rope and a fire extinguisher. The bathroom didn't have a separate shower area, so the room could get a bit damp, but the cleanliness was good. I stayed for 2 days and you can request housekeeping. They offer free breakfast, but I didn't wake up in time for it.

Exiting Gate 3 at the airport, I took the 3001 night bus. I paid with my pre-loaded Apple NFC Tmoney, 1150 Korean Won, and smoothly arrived at Hotel Moon. It offers great value for money. The front desk is open until 1:00 AM. Although the room was small, the decor was very new. The bathroom didn't have a wet/dry separation. The air conditioning worked well. I didn't encounter the issue of the vanity mirror only being above the toilet. There's also a mini-fridge and what looked like a 65-inch TCL TV. For breakfast, they provide simple toast, boiled eggs, and hot Americano coffee.

Though not very spacious, it offers great value for money. The stay was comfortable, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helpful with any questions. Plus, there's a bus stop and a CU convenience store right nearby. It was a good experience overall.

This hotel is super convenient, located right in downtown Jeju City and not far from the airport – only about a 10-15 minute drive. It's perfect for business travelers, and check-in is self-service. There are also a lot of Chinese guests here.
