Uni Hotel Jeju

We stayed in a sea-view suite, and the view was indeed unbeatable, though unfortunately, the weather wasn't great on the morning we were there. The sea-view suite, like the royal suite, also has two bathrooms, which Ctrip had incorrectly listed. The room facilities are very well maintained; you can't tell it's a hotel that's been open for 10 years. There are universal power outlets, so no adapter is needed. The lobby sells instant noodles, snacks, and water. We received a 'buy one get one free' voucher for the coffee shop downstairs upon check-in, though it was only for iced Americanos. However, the coffee shop's view is also fantastic.

The hotel exterior is quite luxurious, but stepping into the room, it felt really dated. The flooring looked like something out of the 90s, just like a local guesthouse. The location is decent though, right by a popular网红 (wanghong/influencer) cafe, and a famous photo spot is just to the right of the entrance. The sea view from the entrance is also very pretty. However, the room itself was a real letdown! If you're primarily looking for a great room, don't bother booking this place; don't set your expectations too high! All the facilities inside are quite old and worn out!

The sea view room was amazing, and we even got an upgrade! It would be even better if they had a pool. The coffee shop at the entrance is also very good.

Our stay at Uni Hotel in Jeju Island was fantastic, I definitely have to give it a big thumbs up! The most delightful surprise was the room's view. Opening the window revealed a stunning blue ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves in the morning and watching the sunset over the sea in the evening was incredibly relaxing; every photo we took looked like a postcard. We booked a family room, which was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 3 to 4 people without feeling cramped. The furniture was well-arranged, making it easy to store all our luggage, and our family had a very comfortable stay. As for the service, although the front desk staff's English wasn't perfect, they were incredibly patient. They even spoke a few simple Chinese phrases, and with the help of a Korean translation app, all our basic needs were smoothly met. For instance, when we initially couldn't figure out how to operate the TV, they came up to help us very quickly after we notified the front desk, and their attitude was super friendly. The restaurant by the entrance also has ocean-view windows. Ordering a coffee and a cake and just slowly spending the day there was truly so chill! Overall, this hotel has a great location, suitable rooms, and excellent value for money. It's particularly ideal for family trips, and I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Jeju Island!
