Maison Glad Jeju

This hotel is a classic five-star, and while it might not compare to the new, grand hotels in big cities these days, it's still really good. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining, and no worries if you have an early morning flight. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The lobby feels like a four-star hotel. The cakes at the cafe are delicious, and having a GS25 convenience store on-site is super handy for picking up daily necessities, including Tmoney cards. The hallway to the room felt a bit dated, and maybe it was because of the winter rainy season, but there was a slight musty smell. The room itself was fine, with a large window offering a view of the street in front of the hotel. The ceiling had a bit of an industrial vibe. It's right next to Shilla Duty Free and Baojian Road, and the bus stop outside takes you to Dongmun Market, Chilseong-ro, and the airport, which is really convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

The room was spacious and the bed was huge and very comfortable. There's a beautiful garden behind the hotel. The dining options are extensive, with Japanese, Korean, and Western dishes. The evening buffet was excellent and affordable, even offering king crab.

The room was quite spacious, much larger than the Bolton next door. The facilities were also comprehensive; they even provided disposable slippers, which most other hotels on Jeju Island don't. The lobby is also expansive, featuring a bread and coffee lounge, a convenience store, and a gift shop, among other things. The hotel's location is excellent; you step right out into a shopping district. Across from the hotel, in a small alley, there's a restaurant that serves stir-fries, which I visit every time I come to Jeju. Nearby, there are also small shops offering millet porridge, wontons, soup dumplings, and fried dough sticks with tofu pudding. The hotel also had a very enthusiastic, handsome, and young Korean staff member who helped us with luggage storage and guided us through check-in and check-out. He had a beautiful smile, like a Korean celebrity; seeing such a sweet smile from a good-looking person really brightens your day. All in all, I was extremely satisfied.

Right opposite the duty-free shop! The hotel breakfast was delicious, and the environment was clean. They even gave us Olive Young discount coupons when we checked in. Luggage storage was also available, which was really convenient. Getting around was easy, and it was handy for tour pick-ups and drop-offs.
