Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel

Pros: Hotel with view. Clean. Accessible to convenience store. Coin laundry at lobby. Storage luggage. Pickup point for most tour trip. Walking distance to shopping area and dongmun market. They'll give 2 bottle of water daily. Cons: During winter, need to open the window as it can get very warm in the room. No toiletries except shampoo and shower gel. No bidet. No iron and board.

Room was very comfortable (could fit up to 3pax tbh) comfy beds and prime location because it was walkable to the main shopping streets and about 10-15mins to bus stops that would go to many places around the city/airports. Was just really bummed that even tho it was at peak winter the hotel switched off its main AC in all their hotel rooms and guests were expected to open windows. Indeed, it is a normal thing but for a hotel to do such it was the first for me — with windows open for ventilation is absurd as its dry and dirty winter air. There were mornings that i woke up with a dry cough, they gave us a small fan to place in the rooms only and concierge is not 24/7. Staffs was not the best or friendliest, just very basic service and did not really spoke English clearly despite being the “English speaking staff”. However, housekeeping services were really nice as they clean daily and replace towels & water even tho you left a DND sign. Overall, it was not a horrible stay as the beds made up for it. I do see myself coming back when the ACs are for use, but not too sure if that would be another issue as it looks quite rundown and has a leaking signage. The only reason for stay was it was a klook tour pick up point that was the only advantage.

We really loved our stay at Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel and would book here again. The location is super convenient—near Tapdong Shopping District, Jeju Chilsung Fashion Street, and Dongmun Traditional Market, with lots of restaurants, cafes, and casual bars within walking distance. There’s also a GS25 inside the hotel (open 6AM–2AM), and this hotel is a common pickup point for group tours, which made mornings very easy. Free parking is a big plus if you’re renting a car. Our room had a half city, half ocean view, which was really nice. The room was roomy and very comfortable for two people with luggage, and it was quiet at night—we couldn’t hear other rooms at all. A few things to manage expectations: English is limited with staff, and while they say “Smart TV,” it’s only a local Korean system—no Netflix, Prime, HBO Max, casting, or screen mirroring. Also, while this is in Jeju City, it’s not the Neumaru city-center area where you’ll find more local nightlife and urban vibes. Overall, still a great hotel. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families, especially if you value convenience, walkability, and a comfortable, quiet stay.
