Entrance and check-in went as follows: after receiving the key, you are handed a basket with four towels and told to throw dirty towels into the laundry basket here. Some necessities, such as soap, etc., are located here; you may take them with you. There is water and soda in the fridge. You may take one bottle of water and one soda per day. The next day, I asked if there were laundry facilities; the only answer I received in broken English was that it was not for guests.
The room was spacious but worn out. There wasn't a single wall where the wallpaper or wall wasn't damaged. You cannot safely use the air conditioning unless you plug an overloaded extension cord into the indoor unit's plug and let it dangle.
The bathroom is missing several grout lines and is moldy in various places. Something I didn't recognize was growing on the ceiling.
Regarding the location, I am torn between 3 and 4 stars because it is within walking distance of most sights, but the street and surrounding area have many empty buildings and look run-down.
I cannot give hygiene more than a 2.
Regarding service, after the second time I visited, I only saw the reception unmanned or with a closed roller blind. So I can't give it more than 1 star here either.
