Saladin Boutique Hotel

Very scary location. IOF stationed right outside and they question you when they see you- can't even get some ice cream or bread without them harrassing us. The hotel owner seemed a tad bit shady too. The cleaning lady just burst open our door 2 times- once she went straight into the closet to grab a pillow and left; second time was when we wouldnt open the door because we were sleeping and she was asking to clean. It may be culture okay but its scary that i had to barricade the door at night not knowing about safety. the main hotel door was also very unsafe. at least the other hotel in that area locked down and had a 12 am curfew. the only thing good about this hotel was the closeness to al-aqsa compound and food. things close as sunset nears. hours for everything is just so random.

My stay at Saladin Boutique Hotel in Jerusalem was comfortable and satisfying. The staff were courteous and ensured that all my requests were promptly addressed. I also appreciated their diligence in replenishing toiletries whenever needed. The only limitation was the restriction on eating inside the room, which may be important for some guests to note. Nevertheless, the hotel’s service and attentiveness contributed to a positive overall experience.

I had a comfortable one night stay at this hotel. I was only able to get a booking for my last night in Jerusalem as it was fully booked for other days at the time of my booking. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bathroom and bedding was spotless which is a big factor for me. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
