The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. What really separated the experience for me was the phenomenal breakfast Suha and Ibrahim put together. Succulent fish, fresh vegetables, and assortment of cheese, fresh bread, even a diabetic carb offering that was delicious. Highly recommend you try this.

Peaceful Paradise with Lovely Staff The St. Andrews Scots House is a lovely environment. From the moment you see the sign in the middle of a busy intersection, you enter into a secluded garden that leads up to this very special house. Beautiful high ceilings in the whole building. A warm, graceful lounge plays soothing music. The staff really enjoy working here to make the guests happy. They make you feel like family. Many thanks to Tony the manager and his wonderful staff for keeping the breakfast open after normal hours. So special. Highly recommend.

I have been staying here off and on when in Jerusalem for 22 years and they never fail to bless me! I consider it my home away from home! They are very accommodating, friendly and helpful! Very hospitable and lovely ambiance!!! I especially appreciate so many lovely places to sit, talk, worship and pray while in the garden or on the terrace!

When a hotel is usually a hotel with typical hotel stuff, hotel things and hotel atmosphere, this is something on different level of hoteling, its more of a house with great character built in, from the historical building, to the old original and yet new interiors, to the amazing great hotel staff and management services. Lets talk about the rooms, I got a great room with a nice city view and its a balcony you can enjoy the city view with a nice drink and relax if you don't want to stay in room, as you see in the photos. The bath room super clean and neat with the new designs and renovated, comfortable beds and pillows, also there was tea and coffee in the room which was nice, and most importantly the joy of the space of this house. Just walking around the hotel, inside out its a very joyful time, from the old almost ( I dunno maybe 70s bar look a like ) , to the lobby, and they have great garden where you can enjoy drinks and food as well, outdoors bar and restaurant of the hotel. The breakfast was very good, they make fresh eggs your style, nice selection of cheeses, bread, salads, and more to start your day fresh. Location is close to a nice place called ( the old train station ) where used to be train, which is now full of cafes and restaurants and some bars, and small walking distances, you can be in a very luxury mall called Mamilla and also around the city center for all your need to discover the city. Over all, as me, an artists and a fashion photographer, this place is more than a hotel, its such a beautiful place full of character and love and joy inside out, for me, this place is like food, I love to do some film and fashion projects cause for real creative people and artists this place to make such great plan for. I very recommend this place from my experiences in the hotel industry as frequent flyer, and stay in many hotels a lot, its comfy, relaxing, joyful surrounding, lovely, staff and management, nice and helpful, and most importantly it got the soul of beauty. Weather you want to stay a day or 4, you will enjoy it, and looking forward to experience it again.

Delightful stay with a group of 16 people. Ibrahim made sure we all knew the WiFi passcode for a special internet our group could use. This boutique hotel is just outside the old city with easy walking distance to the Temple Mount and across from the precious trendy old railroad station. Wadi, our chief prepared a leg of lamb to die for. Scrumptious!!! Definitely a great place to stay in Jerusalem

What a blessing it was to stay here at St Andrewโ€™s Scottish guesthouse ! Their hospitality was gracious. We have stayed here many times and each time we are reminded of the calm oasis it is. The location is so central. Easily accessible by bus and walking to all sites. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a beautiful church and a garden. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The hotel can host events in the patio and also inside. Events , we found out, can be hosted in the garden. Breakfast is included in the rate and is delicious with many choices. But the best reason to stay at St. Andrewโ€™s is the staff. They are very kind and they really love what they do. Saha took care of our meals as she does for her own family with attention to every detail and with a heart of love.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™ Everyone was extremely kind , Tony the front office manager, Jack, Iman, Youssef, and all the others I may forget. For all you do, thank-you! Your Canadian friends greet you and hope to see you very soon! Everyone who has a chance to stay here should! Best wishes, Ken and Michรจle

All we can say is "WOW!" This is a secret gem in Jerusalem. Now the secret it out. :) Want a small, clean, and appealing place to call home while you are in Israel? You will not find a nicer more cozy spot. The staff is amazing. Each goes above-and-beyond. They are led by Tony who is accessible and helpful beyond compare. Each morning a new array of breakfast treats are presented. We stay one week and had many new and wonderful surprises each morning. We can safely say that the home-cooked buffet was nothing short of amazing. The housekeeping staff also goes the extra mile. We often had our room freshened without even leaving our request card outside the door. They are great and the room was spotless. There is so much charm and warmth that you will have a great experience like we did. Also, the location is superb - just a short walk to First Station, and, a very modest walk to the Old City. We never tired of the views. Also, if you do book tours, the Ben Harim pick-up hotel is only about 10 minutes away. Everything within reach and everything you could want. This is a very special place with very special people. We were so glad it was our "home away from home." We would definitely go back. Tony and the team felt like family and made our stay special. Blessings to everyone there and thank you for all you did on our behalf!

A great place to stay within a short walking distance (15 minutes) from Jaffa Gate. Beautiful and tastefully renovated rooms with elegant public rooms and a good bar too. Lovely staff were always helpful.

Very peaceful and very quiet and within easy reach of the old city of Jerusalem. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. The head chef was approachable and we had interesting conversations with all the catering staff. The main reception bent over backwards to accommodate your needs and the rooms were amazing.

Excellent location, LOCATION! nice breakfast with variety and homecooked specials with local variety. Staff was very helpful, outside seating overlooking the Old City. close to so many bus stops to get around the city too. careful though that the balcony from your room is actually one balcony for many rooms with a divider- didnt like hearing others out the window.
Response from Property: Thanks for your kind review... It was our pleasure hosting you as you visited Jerusalem. Looking forward to hosting you, your family and friends in the future...
