The owner is genuinely kind and down-to-earth, without any commercial gimmicks. She helped carry our luggage from the road intersection, arranged transportation for us to Dali and Jianchuan, and even took us to the local market to cook chicken and matsutake mushrooms over a wood fire when she had free time. Before we left, she gave us some homegrown fruits and vegetables. She even helped deliver our suitcases to the tourist center. Many guests commented that it felt like staying at a friend's house, full of warmth and hospitality.

Great location right at the entrance of the ancient town. You can drive directly to it and walk to the ancient town. The room was clean and tidy, and the landlady was very welcoming ❤️

This guesthouse has an excellent location, right next to the visitor center, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Siji Deng Street, the heart of the ancient town. The guesthouse has its own quiet courtyard and offers parking, which is super convenient for self-driving tours.

The landlady is very kind and the environment is great. It's clean and hygienic, and they provide disposable toiletries. Definitely worth five stars.

I chose this guesthouse and my stay exceeded expectations. It has direct parking, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. The owner maintains it wonderfully; there are lots of flowers and plants in the courtyard, all very well-kept, and even on the second and third floors. Each floor's hallway has a seating area, and they even provide purified water for guests. The room had a tea room with a kettle, tea set, and tea leaves – I really enjoyed a relaxing evening there. The guesthouse is also very conveniently located for breakfast and exploring the ancient town. The room I stayed in was very spacious, and the facilities and cleanliness were excellent. I left something behind when I checked out, and the owner kindly mailed it back to me! 😁

The room is very spacious, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with excellent water pressure in the shower. The location is superb, less than a 10-minute walk to Jide Street and the Ancient Stage. If you're driving, you can park directly in the inn's small courtyard. There's also a dedicated tea room on the ground floor.

The room was clean and comfortable. It's super close to the ancient town, and the landlady was really welcoming. The 'Xichu Xiaoyuan' private kitchen she recommended was delicious!

The landlady was incredibly welcoming. The bedding was spotless, and the location was excellent. Plus, there's a third-floor area where you can sit and stargaze. It was a fantastic stay. Oh, and the restaurant next door, Xichu Xiaoyuan, is genuinely delicious!

We loved this hotel so much and the two owners were lovely, very helpful and kind. They helped us with everything we requested and they made us feel like family. The hotel is in a good location. The room was big, comfortable beds, quiet and clean. I would definitely visit here again and would recommend the hotel to everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Perfect! We'll definitely be back! The location is excellent, right near the entrance to the ancient city and close to the core area. The facilities are very new and well-stocked. It's clean and hygienic, the disposable toiletries were a thoughtful touch, and we could get unlimited bottled water. The owner is beautiful and kind! She helped us with our luggage and gave us all sorts of recommendations! She even set an alarm to see us off when we left at 6 AM. 💗

The landlady is very kind and responsible towards her guests. The room was spotlessly clean, and the vanity was sparkling. My friend even commented on how luxurious the bathroom looked. In the evening, there's a terrace where you can stargaze. And the apples were delicious!

We stayed in this homestay for 2 nights and could have stayed for weeks. The homestay itself is beautiful, and the rooms have everything you could ask for; being only a short walk into the old town. However, the best thing about this place is the host, who was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after and had everything we needed for our stay. Shaxi is stunning and this homestay is easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in China. We hope to be back again soon!

The location is convenient, and there's parking available. The owners are incredibly nice, and the service is great. The apples at the front desk were delicious. The place is clean, and the room is spacious enough. All the facilities are quite new, and even the toilet is smart.
