Yunfuli Yinsu (Fanjing Shanzhai Shadongzhai Branch)

The breakfast was plentiful, the bedding was comfortable, and the room was clean. The owners, a young couple, provided excellent service and were easy to communicate with. The B&B is very close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain and offers shuttle service. Dining options are also convenient within Zhaisha Dong Village scenic area. Since I wasn't in a hurry, I decided to extend my stay. A heads-up: when visiting Fanjing Mountain, make sure to book your entrance and cable car tickets online in advance. We couldn't get morning tickets last minute, and going in the afternoon meant spending most of our time queuing, which really dampened the experience.

Nestled at the foot of Fanjing Mountain, the village is dotted with guesthouses and eateries. This particular courtyard guesthouse is quite lovely; they offer a set breakfast, and the environment is really nice. You can park around the back, and it's just a short walk to the hotel entrance.

This place is really close to Fanjing Mountain's East Gate, just a few minutes' drive, making it super convenient for hiking. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. There's a suspension bridge nearby, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find a local market. We were lucky enough to catch it on market day! I bought six lemon-like oranges and a bunch of bananas for 30 yuan. I even had a local lady ask me how much I paid for them. When I told her, she just walked off, seemingly quite pleased – I guess I paid the 'tourist price'!

I stayed at Yunfuli for the Fanjingshan climbing competition. The inn's wooden decor was incredibly rustic and cozy. The room facilities were convenient and complete, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a wide, beautiful view. The owner was also very kind. After climbing, our shoes were wet and cold, and the owner allowed us to wash our feet in hot water and change into clean socks. I'm very grateful. Highly recommend.

The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The little courtyard was adorable. The shuttle service to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain was very convenient. We had a great time at the bonfire party in the Dong village in the evening.

Fantastic hotel! The owner is incredibly warm and attentive, even providing shuttle service to the scenic area's entrance. The room decor is exquisite, and the surrounding environment is lovely. Breakfast was also very good. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely book here again if I'm ever back in the area. 👍
