Fanjingshan Xiangsu Yubai Homestay

The room facilities were old and worn. I waited for breakfast for over half an hour this morning, and no one showed up. I asked the cleaning lady where she was, since it was breakfast time and no one had come for so long. That cleaning lady, probably the owner's mother, had a very stern face.

Upon arrival, no one paid us any attention. The lady who gave us the key card was absolutely rude. We felt like intruders. Although the hotel offers breakfast, no one even offered it to us; in fact, they didn't even check to see if it was us. The air conditioning couldn't be turned on because it seemed to have been unused for a long time. It stank, and the grilles were dirty and full of cobwebs, so we ended up not using it. There was a screen and a projector to watch, but even the remote control had no batteries. The bedding was fresh, but the duvets and pillows themselves unfortunately stank. On the bright side, a staff member appeared shortly after, willingly giving us a ride to a delicious restaurant near the hotel, and a nice gentleman who worked at the reception desk that evening. And then there were the views of the mountains and the river, and 1 km away, the beautiful historic village of Yunshe.

They were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded our room for free. Every shot we took looked like a stunning landscape photo.

The host was incredibly kind. I checked in quite late, and they waited for us until midnight. Also, since I was traveling with a pet, most people would be afraid to or avoid large dogs, but the guesthouse was very pet-friendly. There's a stream right below the guesthouse, and the host even lent us paddleboards to take our dog to play in the water. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.

I strongly advise all guests who booked based on the photos on the platform to avoid this hotel! The hotel photos are drastically different from reality, and the hygiene conditions are appalling: the doorknob at the front desk is filthy and sticky, the dining table is also filthy and sticky, the swimming pool is dirty, the curtains in the room are moldy, the toilet seat is wobbly, the walls near the bed are covered in dust, and the window film on the bathroom glass is torn. In addition, the hotel management is chaotic; the front desk staff are sleeping on the sofa, and there are shirtless, unidentified people operating the computer at the front desk. I don't understand how such a hotel could be marked as a boutique guesthouse on Ctrip. Apart from the decent location and scenery, this guesthouse is truly worthless!

Facilities: The hair dryer is fake! I never expected it, it can't be turned on at all, the video on the projector is blurry and has a bit of a jam Hygiene: This is the hardest thing for me to accept, and the fundamental reason for canceling the extension of my stay! The pillow has stains! The paper towel is dirty! The toilet paper roll is wet and then dried Environment: The mosquito control needs to be improved, and there are sometimes crawling insects on the bed Service: The housekeeper's service is still good. Even if the cleaning lady didn't do it well, the housekeeper came to change the four-piece suit herself

The guesthouse was very comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. Although located in Zhenjiang Village, it had a unique charm. The rooms were riverside with beautiful views. There were also delicious fish restaurants nearby! Highly recommended, I would definitely come again.

A very cost-effective homestay. The location is very good, opposite is the ancient town of Yunshe. The room is nice, big and beautiful, especially good!

It's quite far from Mount Fanjing, and ten kilometers from the Dong village—truly in the middle of nowhere. Although it's a Greek-style hotel, it's incredibly basic, and there were so many bugs. Perhaps because it's not peak season, the swimming pool and other facilities were unusable and needed cleaning. The photos are beautiful, but there's not much to see.
