We went birding along the river right in front of the hotel. We scored lifers including the gray treepie, brown breasted bulbul and the crested king fisher. The river was also teeming with brown dippers, wagtails, asian tits, plumbeous redstarts, and collared finchbills. On the mountain, we saw the redbilled leiothrix and the omnipresent Elliot's laughingtheush. The hotel staff also taught us how to use 美团 to get great dining deals. It was a life changing moment. Btw, all the good things other revierwers said are true. It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
