Jiayuguan Fanjia Quadrangle Inn

The owner is a super sweet person. Truly welcoming hospitality! I arrived around 09:30 and was allowed to check-in early. I asked if there was a fruit market nearby which unfortunately there wasn't, however, the host kindly gave me some fruit and offered to drive me to the adjacent train station (which is less than a 10 minute walk), the following morning. It is very convenient for train passengers wanting to take an overnight break between trains. The hotel also has a restaurant too. Everything was superb.

The couple running the hotel were incredibly warm and helpful; the landlady even treated us to prunes and boiled the eggs we had bought ourselves, free of charge.

The owners are lovely and it is worth booking this place only because of them. But in addition it is so near the station that you can easily, but they offer pick up and drop off. Bus 10 and 12 will quickly take you downtown, where you can change to bus 4 or 9 to go to the scenic are. I got the Hello Kitty room which was a childhood favourite of mine. The owners gave me corn on the cob which they had grown themselves, it was delicious. I felt really welcomed here, and as an English speaker they were able to communicate with me via translation apps.

Fabulous stay! Room was clean with no smoke smell. The service was insane - the host woke up at 4:30am to drop us at the train station even though we insisted we could walk. So worth the money, would absolutely stay again

The owner was so lovely and helpful. He made us dinner quite late (at a really cheap price) and brought us to the station very early morning for free ! He was so eager to help and make sure we were confortable, definately a place to recommand ! My only comment is about the noise.. the night has been noisy, puppy crying all night and talking + walking loudly late at night in the corridors so we didn't sleep well to be honest.. but hopefully it was a one night thing
