Shangquan Lishe Spring Culture Boutique Hotel (Jinan Daming Lake Scenic Area)

The weather in Jinan in February was very pleasant. Since we planned to see the Chaoran Tower light show on the first night, which starts at 5:50 PM these days, we chose this vintage-style hotel inside Daming Lake Scenic Area for easy access to the night views. Speaking of the hotel, the service was truly outstanding. They proactively contacted us on the day of our arrival and sent us the exact location for our taxi. After reaching a parking lot in the scenic area, the hotel shuttle came to pick us up and even helped with our luggage. The shuttle driver was super handsome! Upon arrival, the hotel presented welcome gifts and small toys for the children, which made them very happy. The lake-view room felt like living in a pavilion, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Sitting by the bay window, we could see ducks and fish swimming by, creating a lovely ambiance. The soundproofing was also good; it wasn't noisy in the morning. It's perfect for family travel, located right next to the Lao She Memorial Hall within Daming Lake Scenic Area. It's very close to Chaoran Tower, making it convenient to watch the light show at night. We'd love to visit again.

This is a truly lovely hotel! It has an old-world charm and is perfectly situated right on Daming Lake, within the scenic area itself. The staff, both the young men and women, were incredibly vibrant and enthusiastic. They helped me with my luggage, escorted me to my room, and explained where all the amenities and items were located. The cleanliness was impeccable too. It's also conveniently close to all the attractions, within walking distance, and transportation is very accessible.

Aside from the slightly small room, the service was absolutely impeccable. The hotel is located inside the Daming Lake Scenic Area, very close to Chaoran Tower. There's a shuttle bus available for pick-up and drop-off. Everyone, from the shuttle driver to the front desk staff, was incredibly warm and welcoming. They even gave us three complimentary breakfasts. A big shout-out to service staff member Xiao Li, who went above and beyond by helping me call a Didi (ride-sharing service) to take my luggage to the train station. The service was so thoughtful and attentive, truly deserving of a huge thumbs-up!

If you only have half a day in Jinan, I highly recommend this hotel; it's right inside the scenic area. The clear lake water is right below the room window, and you can see many water birds in the morning. The young staff at the hotel are all incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, assisting with luggage and providing excellent service. The spring water for brewing tea in the room is crisp and delicious. Sitting on the tatami by the window, enjoying the view and sipping tea, is incredibly relaxing.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right inside Daming Lake. You can open your curtains and see the lake, and it's super convenient to walk to all the scenic spots. The hotel environment is lovely, and the service is great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!
