This was my first and last stay here. We arrived at the hotel just in time for the buffet dinner, and while I understand that any inconveniences should be communicated during check-in, we were denied entry at the buffet restaurant. They claimed there was a group of over 100 people and they couldn't accommodate our family of two adults and two children. Haha, my kids were starving, and they told us to wait for an hour next door. I've stayed at many hotels, and often encountered large groups and conferences, but never once have I been told that a few extra people couldn't be seated! The description mentioned a children's play area, so I thought I'd take the kids to play. I've never seen a play area like this before; I was shocked, haha. It was no bigger than a small corner in a clothing store. For breakfast in the morning, I understood there were no boxed yogurts, so the kids wanted a drink instead. They wandered around the cabinet for a long time and came back empty-handed, saying there was a big lock on it. It's truly a shame for that cabinet to have such a huge lock!

The Hyatt brand is always trustworthy. To get a Hyatt at this price is really great value for money. The front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel is a bit old but offers excellent value. The location is fantastic; you can bike to Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

We booked the Kangyi Connecting Family Room, and it was an excellent choice for a family group. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel generously allowed us to check in early. Even when one of the two rooms wasn’t ready yet, they let us safely leave our luggage so we could head out and tour the city without hassle. The front desk staff speak English, which made everything straightforward. Both rooms were very clean, spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The twin room even had a bath tub, while the other room was thoughtfully designed for older guests or wheelchair users, with supportive handles in the bathroom — a detail we appreciated. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the breakfast buffet at the restaurant offered a convenient start to the day. One of the highlights was that the hotel kindly allowed us a late checkout, which was incredibly helpful since our train ride was scheduled for later in the afternoon. This flexibility made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, a great hotel for families looking for convenience, comfort, and dependable service. I would definitely stay here again.
