JI Hotel (Jinan Baotu Spring North Gate)

This hotel has a great location, is very clean in all aspects, has a very nice environment, and the rooms are very large with complete facilities. The view outside is also very expansive. The only slightly inconvenient thing is that most of the rooms are on the 17th floor, while the reception is on the 20th floor, which sometimes makes checking in a bit inconvenient.

This hotel certainly boasts a prime location, adjacent to the Baotu Spring scenic area. It's about a seven- or eight-minute walk from the hotel to the entrance, saving tourists a lot of time and effort. However, the hotel's facilities and environment are far from satisfactory. Located in an old building, the entire structure looks weathered, with peeling exterior walls and crumbling walls in the hallways, further emphasized by the dim lighting. Upon entering the hallway, a strong musty smell hits you, and this odor is also present in the guest rooms, seemingly accumulated from long-term dampness and poor ventilation, making it very uncomfortable. Even more inconvenient is the fact that the check-in reception is on the 20th floor. Guests must first enter the lobby on the first floor and then take the elevator to the 20th floor to complete the check-in, undoubtedly adding considerable trouble for travelers with large luggage. The hotel's outdoor parking lot is small, with very limited spaces, an uneven surface, and cluttered with debris, creating a dilapidated and unpleasant parking experience. As for breakfast, the restaurant is small and offers very limited variety. The main dishes, side dishes, and drinks are all very basic, making it difficult to satisfy different tastes. Furthermore, the restaurant's hygiene is subpar; water stains are occasionally visible on the tables, and the cleanliness of the tableware needs improvement. Overall, aside from its convenient location, this hotel has significant shortcomings in terms of facilities, hygiene, and service. Its overall performance can only be described as "very average."

The service was decent, parking was available throughout the year, though the location was average. Breakfast was mediocre, especially the breakfast table and floor. It was really disappointing. The room air conditioning was powerful, and the location was good; Baotu Spring is just a left turn away. There were too few elevators; I stayed on the 19th floor, and the dining area was on the 20th, with only two elevators available. Waiting times were long, and it was hot. The good location is an advantage.

Cleanliness: The room wasn't cleaned properly. There were yellow stains on the bathroom sink, small flies in the room, dirt on the light bulb, and the trash can wasn't clean. Environment: The environment was average, too confusing. Service: The front desk was indifferent, the room service was subpar, and guests were even asked to get their own mineral water. 😱 The experience was terrible, very poor.
