Jinan Luxury Blue Horizon Hotel

Not bad. The hotel lobby is very upscale. The front desk was quick with check-in. The mattress and pillows were very soft, I really enjoyed the sleep. Breakfast was rich and delicious. There were a few minor incidents, but it's in the past. Overall, it was still very good.

The room was decent, but the tea and coffee bar was a bit basic. The welcome fruit, provided for early check-in, wasn't delivered until 2 PM. The apple was a bit small and not very tasty, but the cherry tomatoes were good. The underground parking was easy to find, but it was a hassle having to tell the front desk every time I left the parking lot. It would be much more convenient if I could just input my license plate for free access.

Traveling with kids to Jinan, I chose a hotel with a good location, making transportation and dining very convenient. However, when I asked for hot water in the lobby, the staff member shirked responsibility, just shouting into their earpiece without moving. They were quite arrogant, and the service was just okay. The breakfast was plentiful, and everything else was fine.

The service was excellent and very thoughtful. We received the complimentary milk and fruit as promised. The location isn't remote at all; a taxi to the attractions only cost a little over ten yuan. It's much better than the 4-star hotel we stayed at in the scenic area the night before, for a similar price – great value for money! Just a heads-up about breakfast: you need to go early. If you go late, you won't see any meat or eggs. We arrived at 9:23 AM, and they were already clearing all the food stations simultaneously. We didn't see any meat, only managed to grab some vegetables, fruit, and milk. I guess it's because the hotel needs to prepare for lunch, so it's something to be aware of – go early for breakfast!

Overall, it was just okay. The room was quite small, and the hotel felt a bit old as it's been open for a while. The parking area was spacious, but it was a bit of a maze, like going through a tunnel – quite interesting, actually, haha.

The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. It was a fantastic stay, truly worth revisiting.

The only highlights are its affordability and spacious rooms; everything else falls short. The hardware maintenance is subpar – the bathroom sink was patched up with silicone sealant, and the restaurant bar counter was held together with scotch tape, giving off a 'good enough' vibe. The restaurant and heated pool seem to be managed by separate contractors. The restaurant operates as an external buffet for lunch and dinner, which explains why breakfast has a wide variety but inconsistent quality. I didn't get a single fresh piece of bread during my three-day stay. Plus, breakfast ends at 9:30 AM to prepare for the lunch service. The heated pool is a real problem for seniors; my parents swim daily during their trips, but the water here was too cold to enter. The butler mentioned it was around 24 degrees Celsius. This is a competition temperature; which hotel guest would want that? It's probably meant for local kids' practice. If you have high standards for hotel quality, this place isn't for you. From hardware maintenance to service, it screams 'good enough' and doesn't deliver on star-rated quality. However, if you're looking for a cheap option, it's a good choice.

The hotel arranged a family room for us, which was incredibly warm and lovely! My child absolutely adored it. The staff specially came up to show us the room and then helped us switch to an even better one, showing great dedication and responsibility. We felt an immense sense of warmth and respect. Seriously, a huge thumbs up! What was particularly touching was that knowing I was on my period, they even left two packets of brown sugar water when cleaning the room. I was genuinely moved! Both adults and children were satisfied. Dining was conveniently downstairs, and the laundry room was clean and easy to use. This is always our first choice whenever we come to Jinan, consistently excellent!

During the New Year's Day holiday, I brought my family to stay at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, the service was excellent. My child was also very happy, and the overall trip was quite good. They even offer warm milk in the evenings and send follow-up messages. Five-star rating, highly recommended!
