Caoye Ziyou Hostel (Jingdezhen People Square Taoyangli Scenic Area)

This place doesn’t exist anymore. They redirect you to a different hostel. You pay more than what you are supposed to get. Trip should delist this location and stop scamming people. Everyone was nice at the hostel, though. We had a communal dinner with everyone.

I would not recommend this hostel since the door to the room didn't lock, the toilet and bathroom were not clean. The living area was pretty nice with a couch, big tv and pooltable, but the trashbins were overflowing. The staff was nice. However with this hostel it very much the case of you get what you pay for.

I could not expect better for the price like this. Hostel is low budget super friendly and also social with the pool table.

The hostel is pretty good, the host very kind and open, also he cooks very well. The living room is incredible, with billiard table, guitar, sofa and tv screen. You never get bored and always meet very cool people. I do really recommend for people who like to spend time with others and have fun. Also because the city is very artistic and with a lot to do. Can’t wait to come back

didn't expect the room more than 8 beds, but i'm fine because the room is spacious not too packed between each others. the service was good, they're helpful and the facilities was also good they provide shampoo, soap, slipper, hair dryer and toothbrush. the downside only the the toilet area was smelly. 

Overall this stay ruined my time in Jingdezhen. The listing on Trip.com is completely different to the actual location and facilities. I arrived at the location and there was no hostel there. A woman at a hotel helped me to contact them by phone and they told me I would need to book another taxi or wait a while for them to pick me up. Quite embarrassing. The actual location of the hostel is in the middle of nowhere. There is pretty much nothing of interest to see within walking distance. The bathroom was smelly. The place was mostly dirty. It was down a countryside lane with barking dogs. I was meant to stay for 2 nights but I left after one. The staff and guests were nice however and the owner invited me to have some chinese liquor.

This made exploring the city's key attractions, especially the ceramic culture sites, incredibly easy and convenient. Key Highlights: • Prime Location: Being in the Taoyangli Scenic Area means you step out right into a charming environment with local shops and historical ambiance. It's a fantastic base for sightseeing and soaking up the local atmosphere. • Comfortable & Unique Vibe: The hostel itself has a lovely, artistic, and relaxed atmosphere. It's well-maintained and feels very cozy. The common areas are great for relaxing and meeting other travelers. • Cleanliness: My room (or the general facilities) was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-cared for. • Friendly Staff: The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. They offered great local tips for dining and transportation, which significantly enhanced my trip. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! I highly recommend the Caoye Ziyou Hostel! For anyone visiting Jingdezhen, especially those interested in the history and art of ceramics, this hostel offers an excellent blend of convenience, comfort, and unique local charm.
