LakeSide Resort Jingdezhen

Overall, the staff service was good. However, the takeaway boxes at the breakfast restaurant were incredibly small – I've never seen anything like it. It felt intentionally designed to prevent people from taking food to go. Also, there were no towels at the swimming pool, which definitely needs improvement.

This hotel is right next to the China Ceramic Museum; you can even walk there directly through the hotel grounds. The service is incredibly thoughtful; they always offer to help with luggage when they see you have a lot and greet you kindly every time you enter or leave. The staff are genuinely enthusiastic. While the hotel's decor is a bit old-fashioned, the overall cleanliness is very good, with timely housekeeping. The swimming pool is perfect for families with kids; it opens at 10 AM, which is great for avoiding the midday heat. Adults can relax while the kids play in the water. The pool is quite shallow and the water is warm, so parents can feel at ease.

Located in an exclusive resort area, with the lake in front and a large lawn behind, the environment exceeded our expectations. The restaurant also offered fantastic views. The service was thoughtful and attentive! The swimming pool facilities were a bit lacking; it seemed like some tile particles had come off the bottom, and the shower door was transparent.

We visited Jingdezhen with our two kids. Jingdezhen in the summer is incredibly hot, so we specifically looked for a hotel with an indoor pool and found this one right next to the Ceramic Museum. We had a smooth check-in at 3:30 PM. You can scan a QR code to book various hotel activities, but special events have limited dates, so we didn't get a chance to try them with the kids. On the first night, we found dinner in the commercial area next to the hotel and used the pottery coupon the hotel provided. The concierge helped us find a shortcut, which saved the kids a lot of energy. There are also some children's facilities on the lawn connecting the hotel and the commercial area, perfect for an evening stroll with the little ones. When we returned to our room that night, housekeeping thoughtfully delivered snacks and fruit. The pool is also kid-friendly, with a maximum depth of 150cm, and the water was clean, though I couldn't find a swimsuit dryer. The next morning, we headed to the Ceramic Museum, which was less than a 10-minute walk away, and again, the concierge was very enthusiastic and led us there. That night, they again delivered snacks and fruit, and even gave the kids a room gift. Both kids raved about the hotel staff! Although the hotel clearly shows some age, the service was consistently warm and welcoming. Even on weekdays with fewer guests, breakfast wasn't limited to set menus. Every morning, the two little ones enjoyed feeding the fish. Housekeeping was prompt and thoughtful, and the front desk staff were always happy to answer questions. It was a very pleasant stay, and returning to the hotel under the scorching sun felt like coming home. A truly wonderful and heartwarming experience!

The hotel's surroundings are great, and it's very close to the museum, within walking distance. The view from the room's window is nice, and the room itself is well-equipped, cozy, and comfortable. It's also very quiet at night. Parking at the hotel is very convenient. However, the hotel breakfast is too simple and doesn't match the hotel's caliber at all.

The environment is quiet and peaceful, and the service is quite good. The breakfast was very average, not many varieties. Maybe because the occupancy rate wasn't high enough, so they prepared less for breakfast? Also, the in-room dining service was canceled because they said not many people ordered it.

The scenery is excellent, and the garden landscaping within the resort is fantastic. The lakeside restaurant is beautiful, and the breakfast offers a good variety. As for the room facilities and hygiene, everything felt pretty standard. It's located next to Zijing, and I'd say its facilities are slightly better than Zijing's. The actual room size felt a bit small, though. I'd suggest the front desk/concierge improve their overall service quality; they should at least have some knowledge about things like museum reservations to better assist guests.

The hotel has beautiful scenery, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was quite delicious, and the hotel facilities are good. The service attitude was also excellent, and the hotel's cleanliness met the expectations for its star rating.
