GGuest UserA truly enchanting and fantastic guesthouse! Nestled in the mountains of Sanbao Village, it's like a paradise. Breakfast and afternoon tea are meticulously prepared, and the mattresses and pillows in the rooms are incredibly comfortable. On sunny days, you can relax in the small courtyard, and in the evening, enjoy tea and conversation with friends on the tatami mats in your room. A small garden, a fishpond, a flock of white geese, a few ducks, three beautiful kittens, and a golden retriever—the children had a wonderful time!

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is very lovely and attentively decorated. It is basically identical to the pictures. It is located within walking distance from Taoxichuan and a short taxi ride (15-20 min) from other main attractions. We were able to check in early and they kept our luggage after check out. The room is clean (disposable towels are available) and genuinely smoke free. The owners are attentive beyond expectation. As we didn't speak Mandarin and our WeChat was not cooperating either we were a little bit confused with the whole pottery experience. The owner was so nice that he booked it for us and even walked us to the shop !! During the class, the teacher was patient and helped us a lot to make sure our pieces turned pretty. As mentioned in the description, you can ”play with the mud” for free but you have to pay if you want to finish your piece (mailing/firing). The teacher is not trying to oversell and the price was very reasonable. It took us a bit over 2 hours. Feel free to book this guesthouse with peace of mind ! PS: to the owner - I apologize for not saying goodbye properly. We were late and literally running between taxis to make it to the train station on time.

GGuest UserChoosing the right hotel for a vacation is so important! The views from this hotel are absolutely breathtaking, and stargazing walks to watch the sunset are incredibly photogenic. The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the stunning scenery. The bedding and bathtub experience were top-notch. The gym and pool facilities were complete and clean, and breakfast was both abundant and exquisite. The service was gentle and warm, making the entire stay comfortable and pleasant. Definitely a five-star rating!

Fruit platter and drinks were included in room package with lots of space to move around. Breakfast was also included and tastes good. Will definitely come back again when I want to visit the area😊

GGuest UserIt's pretty good. I don't have high expectations for staying in a hotel. Generally, as long as I can live in it, it's fine. This hotel gave me too many surprises. From the service attitude at check-in, I can feel the enthusiasm of this hotel. The front desk The sisters will also give some travel suggestions. She recommended a Xiaolechuan restaurant near the hotel. It is really delicious and the price is reasonable. Locals also eat there often. There is also a hotel room lady who helps us with laundry. I'm a little embarrassed hahaha, getting along with them is really like old friends. I like this atmosphere very much. Needless to say, the environment. This is an art hotel. Is the environment bad? The equipment in the room is also very new. It’s super convenient. I’m going to go there with my friends in the summer. I will definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserVery much enjoyed our short stay at the Taoshe. 3 nights during December, so the place was quite quiet. A super location in the old part of town and very close to the river. Rooms are very nicely done. Attractive, warm, comfortable, decent size, and clean. Buffet breakfast was very nice. All staff were friendly and helpful too. We didn't do any of the inhouse activities as we spent most of the time around the town itself. 'Resort' just probably a bit of a grand title (in English), but it is a very pleasant and functional base, with some local character and history. Would definitely recommend it if you're venturing out to JDZ.

Key Highlights: • Prime Location: Being in the Taoyangli Scenic Area means you step out right into a charming environment with local shops and historical ambiance. It's a fantastic base for sightseeing and soaking up the local atmosphere. • Comfortable & Unique Vibe: The hostel itself has a lovely, artistic, and relaxed atmosphere. It's well-maintained and feels very cozy. The common areas are great for relaxing and meeting other travelers. • Cleanliness: My room (or the general facilities) was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-cared for. • Friendly Staff: The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. They offered great local tips for dining and transportation, which significantly enhanced my trip. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! I highly recommend the Caoye Ziyou Hostel!
