Naga Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right at the entrance of Gaozhuang. It's within walking distance to the Starlight Night Market and the Lancang River. The rooms are spacious. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are very clean and tidy. The hotel service is great, and they offer airport pick-up.

This is our second time visiting Xishuangbanna in less than a year, and our second stay at this hotel, specifically requested by my child. Let's start with the positives: the location is decent, right at the entrance of Gaozhuang, so you avoid traffic jams inside, and it's convenient for getting around. The room is relatively quiet and has a balcony. As for the downsides, there are many bright lights in the room that can't be turned off at night. The curtains also let in a bit too much light, and even the toilet lights up at night, so we had to unplug things. The main issue, however, was the very poor service attitude from the front desk staff this time around. This experience wasn't as good as our previous one.

The room had a balcony with a nice night view. The location was pretty good, within walking distance to the Starlight Night Market, and there were plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment, with many people doing travel photography. You'd see people everywhere changing outfits and taking pictures. The hotel offered airport pick-up service, and the butler was responsive. The hotel decor wasn't brand new, but that's typical for five-star hotels in the area. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the freshly squeezed watermelon juice was delicious.

The hotel has a trendy, influencer-style vibe, and the service is excellent. Some facilities are great, like the smart toilet and the new bathroom amenities. However, some details could use improvement, such as the outdated floor tiles and the hard material of the headboard.

The location is great, making it convenient for dining and other activities. For its price point, the hotel's interior space is quite generous. However, if possible, I'd suggest upgrading the air conditioning units. Luckily, Xishuangbanna isn't extremely hot; otherwise, the small living area in the one-bedroom-one-living-room setup would get quite warm. The service was excellent.

Facilities: For a highly-rated hotel, the facilities didn't match the over 900 yuan price tag. We later had to switch rooms because the air conditioning was broken. The hallway was dark and narrow, making me afraid to walk back to my room alone at night. The next morning, I decisively moved to a different hotel. Hygiene: It was considered clean. Environment: The environment definitely didn't match the price. Service: Normal service attitude. The shuttle bus was also shared with other guests, which made for a very poor experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Gaozhuang. It's a very short walk to Gaozhuang Shuangjing. The cleanliness and service are great, and the room facilities are quite new. Getting to various attractions, whether by taxi or public transport from the scenic area bus stop, is very convenient. Really good!

The Naga Hotel, with its Thai-style architecture, provides exceptional butler service and thoughtful touches like complimentary airport pickup, making it perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious, equipped with projectors and balconies. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market, and they offer free shuttle service to the Gaozhuang scenic area. Overall, it offers great value for money.
