Twin Tower Star Holiday Hotel (Splashing Square Jiangbian Night Market)

The location is super convenient, right next to the Water Splashing Square and the riverside night market. The room size and facilities are perfectly adequate, so overall, I'm quite satisfied. I had booked an airport pickup through Trip.com, but for some reason, it wasn't arranged. However, the front desk lady was very quick to reimburse my taxi fare, so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The facilities are actually quite new, and the price isn't bad. The room size is pretty big, and there's a balcony where you can wash and dry clothes. Downstairs, there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. I only had two minor complaints. First, we arrived around 2 PM to check in, but the front desk said our room wasn't ready yet, so we had to wait until past 3 PM. Then, on check-out day, they insisted we leave by noon. I told them my Ctrip booking clearly stated a 2 PM check-out was allowed, so that information on Ctrip was apparently useless. Second, some rooms at this hotel face the riverside night market, which can be quite noisy at night, and you can smell the BBQ. This wasn't ideal for us early sleepers. However, if you close the windows, the room gets a bit stuffy... so we ended up having to use the air conditioning. Otherwise, the 20-degree Celsius breeze in Xishuangbanna at night would have been perfect.

Great hotel! The room was spacious and had a balcony with a washing machine, which was super convenient. I spent my days in Xishuangbanna just chilling on the balcony, soaking up the sun – it was so relaxing. I love it!

Great value for money and a fantastic location, plus the rooms are spacious.

How to evaluate this? Let's just look at the pictures. I booked this room for a friend, and the reviews seemed pretty good, but when we arrived the next day, it was filthy everywhere. I can't even describe it. A total disappointment.

I forgot to take a photo of the room. It was quite big and clean, with complete facilities. The toilet was slightly defective. Location: Convenient. The night market by the river is right outside the door. It is very convenient to take a taxi or e-mule. Scenery: The room is on the 3rd or 4th floor. The view is limited to Figure 1 and 2. The elevator can go to the high floors Figure 3 and 4. Environment: Because it is too close to the night market, there is always noise at night. Service: Didi was used for airport pick-up. It is safe and reliable.

The hotel room is nice and big, and there is a small balcony with a view. It is very convenient to take a taxi downstairs. It took only 7-8 minutes to get to the airport this morning! It is not far to the Xingguang Night Market and the Dai Garden. Opposite the hotel is the Jiangbian Night Market, with many snacks. You can also see the lights on the balcony at night. There are two ladies at the front desk (day shift and night shift). The day shift lady is very gentle and nice! 😁 The room is also well cleaned, nothing to complain about.
