Xishuangbanna Yuejiang Hotel

The front desk staff were warm and patient during check-in, making the process efficient and quick. The hotel's location is excellent, the room was clean and tidy, and the lobby is spacious and bright. Downstairs, there's a huge, crystal-clear swimming pool. From the back exit, it's about a ten-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market. In the late afternoon, around dusk, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Lancang River. Getting around and dining out are very convenient. Overall, my stay was incredibly comfortable, and I'm very satisfied. I sincerely recommend it!

We stayed in a family room with two large balconies and two beds. I'd suggest adding a nightstand next to the 1.2m bed. The breakfast was quite rich, and the hotel service was excellent; they helped us plan our itinerary and arranged a driver for our chartered car trips. The hotel is located right on the edge of the Starlight Night Market, so no need to worry about traffic, and it's very convenient to get around. There are shared electric scooters available for rent on the roadside, making it super easy to explore the night market. It's also very quiet and peaceful! We visited in January and saw so many swallows!

This hotel is located on the easternmost side of Gaozhuang, offering a very quiet environment. Parking in the underground garage and taking the elevator directly to the rooms is very convenient. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped. The hotel's swimming pool is super clean. Before we left, the front desk even gave us some tea as a gift.

Our experience at this hotel was terrible from the moment we checked in. We used to stay here every time we visited Xishuangbanna. We drove here, so we had a lot of luggage. When I asked the front desk if they had a luggage cart, the receptionist told me to carry everything myself. When I went over, I saw the cart was full of miscellaneous items. The receptionist then told me to clear the items off myself. Not only did I have to move all the stuff that shouldn't have been on the luggage cart, but I also had to carry my own bags while the front desk staff just stood there and watched, not even offering to help. I could let that slide. We were originally planning to extend our stay; I had already told them yesterday that we'd like to stay in the same room. Check-out time was 2 PM, but at 1:32 PM, they called to tell us to check out. I immediately decided to check out and move to another hotel. They clearly knew we had a lot of luggage, yet at just past 2 PM, they sent someone up to rush us. Even as I left the hotel, carrying my bags to the parking lot, the front desk staff just stood there, completely indifferent (and there wasn't just one person, nor were they busy; there wasn't even anyone checking in). This kind of experience truly shows the hotel's unprofessional management and poor front desk service. I had already calmed down yesterday, thinking that perhaps the person was alone at the front desk, so I could understand. But today, with several people standing there doing nothing, it's completely incomprehensible what this front desk is even doing. You might as well just get rid of the front desk altogether, it's utterly useless. Don't they provide training before people start working? I've traveled and stayed in so many hotels both domestically and internationally, and this is the first hotel in all these years that has made me write a negative review. It's truly one of a kind. I will never stay here again when I come to Xishuangbanna. If they don't improve their management, no one will dare to come anymore. It's genuinely infuriating.

The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from Gaozhuang Starlight Night Market, which is just right – close enough to walk but far enough to avoid the noise. The front desk service was incredibly warm and attentive. On my first day, a Hani ethnic girl served me with such patience, meticulousness, and a gentle voice. That evening, because my room had a strange odor, another girl accompanied me to view several other rooms, allowing me to choose a room type I liked. Her attitude was also top-notch. Aside from the slight odor in the room, I was very satisfied with everything else at your hotel. The swimming pool is very clean, and the hotel's layout is also beautiful. Regarding the odor, it was intermittent, and I smelled it not only in the bathroom but also on the balcony. I even filled plastic bags with water to seal the floor drain and sink, but I could still smell it. This scent wasn't constant; it was sporadic, and I'm not sure why. I hope the hotel can investigate the source of the problem. Ensuring fresh air in the rooms is also a hotel's responsibility. This odor is the only flaw; everything else at your hotel is impeccable.

The hotel's overall service was great, and it has a swimming pool which my child loved. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Starlight Night Market, and parking is convenient nearby. Getting a taxi is also easy! They even offer free Dai ethnic costumes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!!

I was very happy with the room. The balcony offered a direct view of the Lancang River. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a swimming pool downstairs, and the lights at night are beautiful. It was absolutely amazing to grill some BBQ and enjoy drinks and conversation in the thatched hut.

Facilities: Well-equipped. Environment: The swimming pool is huge, and there are charming Southeast Asian-style thatched huts – perfect for photos. The room is also very spacious. Most importantly, the price is genuinely cheap, and the reception service was excellent. Definitely worth staying. Mermaid outfit experience: Free costume change available.
