Jinjiang Jinyue Licheng Hotel (Wudianshi Traditional Blocks Wanda Plaza)

As a transit point for a late-night arrival at Quanzhou Airport, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was newly renovated and just opened. It even had smart voice control! The environment was great, clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very friendly. I had a really comfortable sleep, and it was excellent value for money!

The hotel is new and everything feels fresh and well-maintained, which is a plus. They have smart controls like Xiao Du (AI assistant), disposable slippers, and even disposable face towels. However, it's located above a factory, and the noise from downstairs is quite loud. The soundproofing is genuinely poor. To make matters worse, there were a few young guys next door who were quite noisy; I could hear their conversations clearly, even as late as 3 AM. This is definitely a problem for light sleepers. Also, the parking lot is tiny, fitting only about 10 cars. When I arrived, it was full, so I had to park outside.

The room was actually quite bright, and the bed was comfortable, but the cleanliness was just terrible. There were obvious yellow stains on the toilet, and the shower walls were covered in dirty, sticky grime. The mirror wasn't clean either, and the bathroom and toilet doors were filthy. Seeing all this made me very uncomfortable. This hotel has only been open for two months, so it should be quite new and clean, but their hygiene standards are too low. The provided disposable toilet seat covers didn't fit, so I had to buy new ones. The sink and toilet were separate, making it inconvenient to get things while showering. They didn't provide hand soap either. In short, it felt like they weren't paying attention to hygiene in any aspect.

The room was small and not commensurate with the price. The male staff member on the evening shift had poor service: I left my phone charger and a pair of earrings at the hotel. After checking out at noon, I called the front desk that evening. The front desk said they would ask the housekeeping staff, but they didn't call back. When I called a second time, they said the housekeeping staff hadn't seen them. I asked the front desk to check again and give me a reply, since the charger was plugged into a hotel outlet. They didn't call back after that, showing complete irresponsibility.
