Wentou Oceanic Hotel

As a Jinjing native who has worked away from home for many years, I've always wanted to stay at this old hotel whenever I return to Jinjing—it's a sentimental experience. However, the Wentou Hotel is becoming increasingly disappointing, and I think I won't stay here again. First, let's talk about the room's air conditioning: it was freezing! And there was no way to raise the temperature! The remote control showed it was set to the highest temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, but the actual room temperature was only around 20 degrees Celsius! So you just had to freeze in the room! Next, breakfast: During the 7:00-9:30 breakfast period, by 8:30, there was hardly anything left to eat! Many hot dishes were already finished, and the side dishes and desserts were gone! No one came to replenish them! When we asked the staff, they just kept saying the kitchen was still preparing… The drink cups were also gone, and they didn't replenish them either; the staff told us to bring bowls to drink from… There are many other problems; it's truly indescribable!

The facilities are very old...the cleaning is not in place...I don't know why the bathroom is very smelly

Overall, the hotel is okay. Its location is excellent, right on Jinjing Street, making it very convenient. However, the hotel is quite old, and the facilities are a bit dated. There were people smoking in the lounge seating outside the rooms, and the entire floor was filled with smoke, which was depressing. Also, since I haven't stayed there in years, I found the breakfast this time to be nothing compared to ten years ago. Back then, the breakfast was very generous, but now it's disappointing.
