Jinjiang Siji Garden Hotel (Jinjiang International Airport, Quanzhou)

Whenever I'm in Jinjiang for business, I always choose this hotel. It's my top pick for the area. The location is great, very close to the airport, just a few minutes' drive, which makes getting around super convenient. The lobby is elegant, the rooms are quiet, and the service is incredibly welcoming. The facilities are also well-equipped with everything you need right in the room. I'll definitely be back next time!

Pros: The overall service attitude of the hotel staff, including housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant servers, was quite good. All necessary amenities were available. The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular but satisfactory. Although the room facilities were a bit old, the cleanliness was good. Cons: There was a critical issue. On the day we checked in, the temperature dropped significantly, and it was very windy outside. The window handle in our room was broken, and cold air was leaking in. Since we had already settled in, used the bed, and freshened up, we decided not to switch rooms. I specifically called the front desk to ask if the air conditioning could provide heat, and they confirmed it could. I set it to the highest temperature, but even after waiting for half an hour, it didn't warm up. So I went to sleep. I woke up at 2 AM freezing, only to realize the window was leaking a lot of cold air, and the AC wasn't heating at all. The room was like an icebox. I had to use toilet paper to plug the gaps in the window just to get through the night. I was traveling with two children; one caught a cold, and the other was also feeling a bit under the weather.

The room was great, really beautiful. The service was thoughtful, and check-in was quick. Even though the room was in a busy area, the soundproofing was excellent. It was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and I slept very soundly. The breakfast had a good variety, and the local snacks tasted great. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The breakfast mainly consists of Chinese dishes, which suits the taste of Chinese guests. I chose a room facing east, which offered views of planes taking off and landing at Jinjiang Airport – watching them was quite relaxing during downtime. I could also catch the sunrise; on clear days, the morning sun was a beautiful, fiery red.
