Grand Rezen Jiuzhaigou Resort

Traveling to Jiuzhaigou with my child and my mom, I randomly picked this hotel mainly because the direct shuttle bus had a stop there. To my surprise, it was a pleasant stay! The environment is great, the service is excellent, and the location is superb. Highly recommend giving it a try!

After a day of exploring Jiuzhaigou, the butler proactively messaged to ask if I needed a foot soak tub, which was incredibly thoughtful. The environment is excellent, and the staff are very warm and proactive. The bedding is comfortable, and the pillows are soft, making for a great sleep. There are no flaws except for the ordinary breakfast. The hot dish selection for breakfast was far too limited. It was mostly filled with staple pastries; it looked like a grand display, but two rows were essentially buns, fried dough sticks, bread, cakes, and various soups and liquids. And among the already sparse hot dishes, two plates were fried noodles and egg fried rice! The noodle station was very average. The beef noodles had a strong spice flavor, and the noodles themselves weren't good. The rice vermicelli was decent, relying on the texture of the vermicelli itself to carry the flavor of the whole bowl. I don't know what breakfasts are like at other hotels in Jiuzhaigou, but among all the hotels I've stayed at during my travels, this one ranks high for environment and service, and last for food. 😂

I had a very satisfying experience staying at the Licheng Huating Resort Hotel during my Jiuzhaigou trip. The hotel environment is excellent; both the public areas and the rooms were spotless and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The service was a pleasant surprise; staff members proactively opened the car door upon our arrival and thoughtfully helped carry our luggage to the room door, showing great attention to detail. The location is also convenient for getting around, with various dining options right outside. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou.

I booked this hotel a month in advance based on online recommendations. It's super close to the gully entrance, only about 1km away. There are tons of restaurants right next door, making it a very convenient street. The environment is also fantastic. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful and gave us two complimentary breakfasts. The service was exceptional! I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Facilities: The hotel is pretty much like a Hanting or JI Hotel, with simple decor. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Great environment, right next to a mountain. Service: The service is impeccable, and breakfast is very rich.

The room was great! Even though it was on the first floor, it wasn't damp at all. The curtains were automatic, and most importantly, the bed was super comfortable. We were a bit altitude sick that day and were worried about not sleeping well, but we ended up sleeping soundly until morning. It has a small courtyard and a butler service. The breakfast was also very generous, with freshly made rice noodles or regular noodles, and coffee. They offered both Chinese and Western options, so there was plenty to choose from.

Not bad. It's very close to the Moon Bay car park, where the official shuttle bus stops, and about 1.6 kilometers from the scenic area. In the morning, we took the public bus there. After visiting Jiuzhai Valley, the area in front of the entrance was super congested with traffic, so we decided to walk back. On the way, we found a restaurant for dinner, which worked out perfectly. We saw many vendors selling plums, 3 catties for 10 yuan, and they were quite tasty. If you see fresh ones, definitely grab some!

Pros: 1. Excellent location with a private courtyard, making it safe and quiet. 2. Upon check-in, a dedicated butler immediately added me on WeChat, ready to assist with any issues. Their attitude was excellent. 3. The hotel has a partnered car service, making taxi rides safer. 4. A bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel to the left, making transportation easy. 5. They provide a child safety gate, which was a pleasant surprise. 6. The mattress quality is very good; I woke up without any back pain. 7. There's also a children's swimming pool. 8. Even though it's on the first floor, there were no strange odors, and the air felt fresh with the window open. Cons: 1. The bathroom is small, but the shower stall is large, indicating inefficient use of space. 2. Hotel management seems to be lacking overall and needs significant improvement. 3. The laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers (2 dryers frequently malfunction, and the other 2 take a very long time to dry). There are no laundry baskets in the laundry room, so when someone's clothes are done, there's nowhere to put them, leading to machines being occupied and others unable to use them. There are also no hangers for clothes. The handheld steamer was very dirty and seemed uncleaned. The laundry room doors are located on the side of the guest rooms, and there's no covered walkway during rain, so you have to use an umbrella and walk through puddles to get there. 4. The curtains don't block light effectively; the room gets bright by 6 AM, which wakes up my child and makes them restless. I hope the hotel continues to improve.
