Boyue Meizhu Hotel

The environment is great, perfect for a getaway.

The room isn't big, but it's very clean, and the bed's firmness was just right; I stayed for two nights. There are plenty of food options around. I took the Jiuyue bus, got off at Moon Bay parking lot, and it was a super easy 3-minute walk to the hotel. There are lots of restaurants nearby. On the second day, it was a close 10-minute walk to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. In the afternoon, after leaving the park, traffic was terrible, but it was really convenient to just walk back to the hotel slowly. Highly recommended!!!

The facilities are basically those of a guesthouse, but the service attitude was okay. I booked this two months in advance for 160 yuan, and I didn't expect it to jump to over 400 yuan during peak season. However, the quality is still only worth the 160 yuan price point. The air conditioning set to 30 degrees still didn't provide much heat, and the shower water wasn't hot either. Luckily, there was an electric blanket, otherwise, I really would have frozen to death in Jiuzhaigou.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, just a ten-minute walk to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, so you don't have to worry about finding transportation. The service is very thoughtful, with enthusiastic staff who respond promptly to requests. However, the hardware facilities are quite basic, with nothing particularly outstanding. The price is indeed on the higher side, but given that hotels in Jiuzhaigou generally have high prices, it's understandable. Free parking is available at the entrance, but spaces are limited, so arriving late might mean no parking.
