Traveling to Jiuzhaigou, I was looking for a newer hotel with two beds (one large, one small), so I booked this one. The room was great, with a large bathtub perfect for kids to soak in. There's a river right outside. We arrived late and left for the scenic area early the next morning, so I only managed to snap one photo.
The hotel breakfast offered freshly cooked rice noodles, wontons, cold tossed black fungus, and shredded chicken – all very delicious. The uncle cooking the food was incredibly kind and polite; he's even teaching himself English to communicate with foreign guests, which is truly admirable.
I especially want to thank the hotel's service team; they are absolutely amazing! On our way back to Songpan, there was an issue with our pre-booked car. Upon learning this, the hotel immediately had one of their colleagues (I apologize for not asking his name) take his personal car, pick up our stored luggage, and drive us from the scenic area entrance to Songpan. Shortly after we set off, heavy snow began to fall, causing significant traffic. Our car didn't have snow chains and skidded on a section of the road, making it impassable. We finally reached the entrance of Songpan Ancient Town at 6 PM. Unfortunately, the kind young man who drove us had his own car hit by another vehicle. He was stranded in Songpan and had to deal with the traffic police the next day before returning to the hotel.
We are so incredibly grateful to the hotel's service team, especially the young lady who helped us communicate and resolve issues that day, and the young man who drove us. You truly treat your customers' problems as your own. With people like you, this hotel is bound to get better and better! Thank you again!
