Xingyu International Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

The bathroom in the room had a strange smell, but the location was great, and the front desk and staff had excellent service attitudes.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I absolutely have to! I booked this hotel just to try it out, and I was incredibly surprised. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel even provided free shuttle service to the scenic area. The service attitude was excellent! My luggage was very heavy, and the hotel staff enthusiastically helped me with it. Plus, there's a free ******* costume experience, which is really cool. The hotel's decor is also very unique! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jiuzhaigou.

Although the location is a bit out of the way, it offers excellent value for money. The accommodation is very comfortable, and it's a thoughtful touch that they offer a morning shuttle to Goukou. The staff are also very kind. Highly recommended.

The hotel environment is elegant, and the lobby looks very high-end with strong ******* cultural characteristics. The room is also spacious and bright, with all the toiletries provided. The service is responsive and any issues are promptly resolved. The surrounding transportation is convenient, and it's great value for money. It's definitely a top choice for travelers looking for accommodation.

Facilities: This is an older, established four-star hotel. While it might not have the trendy decor of modern B&Bs, it's fully equipped, clean, and tidy. Cleanliness: Very clean. Service: The hotel staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. Environment: It's a large hotel that seems to accommodate tour groups, which is still very good. The hotel upgraded me to a king-size bed room when they saw I was alone, and the window offers a mountain view. It's conveniently located just a few hundred meters from the Guoda parking lot, and after leaving the scenic area, there's public transportation that goes directly to the hotel entrance (for 3 yuan). I happened to encounter a mudslide, so the bus was free the next day!

Ambiance: The hotel environment is very good. Service: The front desk service was excellent. Welcome fruit: Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

Facilities: The hotel parking lot is spacious, making it easy to park. The infrastructure is decent, and there are charging stations (slow charging, but a pleasant surprise as they're free). Cleanliness: The cleanliness is acceptable; at least the bedding is clean. Environment: The environment is good, with views of the mountains in front and ample natural light. Service: The front desk service is also very good, implementing a WeChat concierge service. However, I must give a special shout-out to the tall, thin guy who guides parking at the entrance – he's incredibly enthusiastic and excellent! He answers all questions and is very proactive in assisting with anything needed. He even half-runs when walking around. Breakfast: The Mianyang beef rice noodles are delicious, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The portion size is just right, a small bowl, and you can ask for more if it's not enough. It's certainly better than what you'd find in many scenic areas. My positive review above is mainly due to the doorman and the breakfast offering.

I came during the May Day holiday, so it's understandable that the price was higher than usual. This is an older hotel, so the facilities are quite dated and the rooms are on the smaller side. It's also worth noting that many surrounding hotels offer free shuttle service, but this one doesn't, which is a bit inconvenient. It probably would have been a better experience if it wasn't a public holiday. What I found particularly puzzling was that they didn't even provide a pair of slippers for showering.
