Private Enjoy Travel Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

This hotel in Goukou is in a great location. There's a breakfast place right in front, KFC nearby, and the bus stop is just a few minutes' walk – super convenient. The front desk staff were very nice, and the room was clean. Great value for money. It's also only a few minutes' walk to the scenic area, which is really handy. The only thing to watch out for is the restaurant next door, the one with the checkmark in the picture (Yunjiuji) – whatever you do, don't go there! We saw it was empty for a few days and thought we'd give them some business, but we got ripped off. We're all girls and can't eat much, but they insisted we order the expensive 'local chicken and mushroom soup'. I didn't want that, so I ordered the regular mushroom soup. They then forced us to order the medium size for 288 RMB, even though we didn't want to. What came out was a huge pot mostly filled with mushrooms and vegetables, with only a few pieces of chicken. They claimed it was three catties, but as someone who cooks regularly, I could tell it wasn't (I even videoed it). When they saw they couldn't fool me, they brought out another pot of chicken, claiming it had just been stewed. If I hadn't questioned them, they probably would have just tried to pass it off. It tasted awful, and we didn't want any more. In the end, they seemed embarrassed and added half a bowl, but it definitely still wasn't three catties. When I paid, they didn't give me a receipt, and I wondered why it was so expensive. That's when I realized they had overcharged for several 'oil dipping sauce' fees. I told them we hadn't used any, and they finally refunded it, saying they 'hadn't noticed' – even though we were the only table in the entire restaurant! Clearly, they were trying to scam us. No wonder the place has no business. It's fine to be expensive or to have bad food when you run a business, but you shouldn't lie to your customers. I was really disappointed and now feel wary of other businesses in the scenic area. Everyone should be careful. The Paoshan Pig restaurant next door, however, is good; the auntie is enthusiastic, and the food is decent – at least they don't cheat people.

The location is great, really close to the bus stop. I actually left my backpack at the hotel when I was waiting for my bus home, but it was only a one-minute walk to go back and get it. Plus, there are so many food options around!

Facilities: The showerhead, smart toilet, water heater, and hairdryer are all available and very convenient. Hygiene: It's very clean. Environment: Very comfortable, about a 10-minute walk from the gully entrance. There are many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. It's also next to the Zangwangyanwu parking lot, making school commutes easy. Service: The service attitude is excellent, and they even turn on the heating in advance for you.

Excellent location, just a ten-minute walk to the scenic area entrance. Right next door are Yuan's Dumplings, which are incredibly delicious, and a fantastic tomato yak beef hotpot. The owner kindly extended our check-out until 3 PM, which we really appreciated!

Newly renovated, the rooms are very new, and you can even sing karaoke. From my room, I could see Goushan Street right out the main door. When I opened the door, I saw snow falling, which was a beautiful sight! 10/10!

Highly recommended! Even while we were still visiting Huanglong, they sent us various tips and reminders. What's even better is that they turned on the AC in our room ahead of our estimated arrival time. This level of service awareness is far superior to hotels in Chengdu. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Zangwang Yanwu station for the official scenic shuttle bus. The surrounding area also has plenty of restaurants and shops. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to the entrance of Jiuzhai Valley. The hotel's decor and design are reminiscent of the stylish guesthouses you find in Xiamen, offering a strong contrast to the rugged ******* style. There's also a scenic corridor on each floor. The room's facilities and bedding are new, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation with all disposable amenities provided. Although the room isn't huge, it's very comfortable.
